August 13, 2025, This was my 3rd oil change at Grease Monkey, I will NOT be going back. The place looks uncared for and the customer service was horrible. When I ask questions about my oil change, that I paid almost $120 for, I expect and deserve more of an answer then "yep". $102 for an oil change. I would have appreciated it if they'd told me they had a coupon for $30 off. Many of the "services" they list at the bottom of the paper they had me sign -- they didn't do, e.g., washing the windshield, checking the exterior lights, resetting the oil change indicator (I had to ask the guy to do this, and he didn't know how). $102!! It'll be a long time before I even consider going back to this place again. I gave them 2 stars because they did change my oil. (And I doubt the owner even reads any of the reviews, to respond to anyone, or more importantly, fix these problems, and the things others have pointed out in their reviews. Says a lot.) Went in for an oil change, I've never been here before I thought it was strange to pull my car into the shop and get out to walk to the waiting room when they do the service under the car. Before I was even able to get out of my car the tech told me my car takes a certain type of oil with a high price point I was confused but figured they know only to have the tech come tell me oh sorry your car can take any kind of oil, Glad he double checked I guess. I realized when I got home that my fluids weren't topped off, (my antifreeze/coolant was below the low line) they didn't reset my service light, windshield wasn't washed however it said completed on all these services on my invoice. When I brought my car back to get my fluids topped off, the tech said okay we can top the fluids off I always get nervous when a car comes back that I messed up the oil filter. ummmmmmm WHAT? Why would you tell me this? Not coming back to this location if the techs aren't even sure of what they're doing and aren't even preforming all the services I'm paying for. read more

Went in for an oil change and tire rotation. They informed me that the tires were even all around and didn't need to get one! Never heard of a place do that before :) oil change was quick and the service was very friendly! Super easy and a great price. I would definitely check this place out to get an oil change versus going to the car dealership read more

Amazing guys that really go the extra mile to be polite helpful and great at their job! Being a single mom they took the extra time to explain how my oil gage worked over the phone when I called them in a panic. I just went back last night. I've been there several times. Last night they change my oil, but also fixed my windshield wipers. They're always super awesome, fast, & knowledgeable. It's always been a lovely experience and I realized I have never reviewed them. read more

I went in for an oil change and I love all the extra services they do like cleaning the interior of my car and washing the Windows. They don't have to do that. Many other places I've gone to just change the oil, maybe check the air filters, and that's it. The service is great. My husband also got his oil changed there last year, and they did a great job. That's why we both go there. My last oil change was at Bobby & Steve's when I lived in Minneapolis, and it was lazy work that left me unhappy. Grease monkey does a much better job. I needed an oil change. I had made an appointment with the dealership where I bought my vehicle. After waiting for 10 minutes without even getting acknowledged by their service writes, I left. I called Grease Monkey and asked about this service. I spoke with "Nick" who was very pleasant and professional. He said appointments could be made but was not necessary with most oil change services being completed in 20-30 minutes. Also, my boss had been there yesterday. He had raved about Grease Monkey to the point one of my co-workers was bragging about the great service, the coupon discount, and a free car wash. He had been given coupons and had them in the front area of our department. All this sounded good to me, so, over my lunch, I went to Grease Monkey, taking one of the coupons with me. The staff was very courteous and professional. I was even greeted before I could pull up to the bay door and put my truck in park - way ahead of the dealership I had experienced this morning! From that point on, however, I felt like the up-sell started. I was told the manufacturer recommend the synthetic blend (twice as much as I was expecting). I asked about the regular oil and was told there was no way to know what would happen if that was done. Also, the standard pricing includes 5 quarts of oil. My truck required 6. As I got out of the truck and headed out for walk, I was asked if I wanted them to check the engine and cabin air filters. I said no. After 25 minutes or so, the first technician (I did not get his name - sorry) came into the waiting room and sat down. He reviewed a number of things with me. If I had followed all his recommendations, I would have spent at least another $300 (replace battery, engine flush, coolant/antifreeze flush and fill). He told me their battery tester said the battery was bad, but was holding a full charge. This was not a bad visit...just not what I had expected...and no free car wash. I don't know if I will be doing back or not. They are good people...but I don't think my budget could handle it. read more
