The new family court has plenty of seating and technology in the court room. There are clean bathrooms at the end of each wing. There is a visible difference in atmosphere compared to Dallas County Courts. Lots of parking outside and security is efficient and it doesn't take too long to get through.

The staff is very unprofessional and not only that the people that were supposed to be doing the processing were sitting here flipping each other off and throwing things at each other basically playing instead of doing their job while people are waiting , these people have no respect into anything. They are extremely rude. When you call them. The staff is very poorly behaved. I have never met people that are so ignorant and inconsiderate. this is involving the entire Collin County jail, including the bonds especially you need to do better with staffing because this is ridiculous. I've never met such horrible staff in my life.

Attended the Arts in Bloom festival in downtown McKinney and I was impressed!…read more Downtown McKinney reminds me of a, much smaller scaled of course, downtown Fort Worth so I felt right at home! Small local shops, tons of eateries and plenty of space to roam about. The festival layout was well thought out and extended down every main street. Loved supporting the local wineries and trying yummy wine. Definitely an area I'd return to for another festival, or lunch/dinner if I'm in the area.

After she gave me my options my dad wanted to pull me to the side to give me advice since I am not familiar with court proceedings. She said fine but I am putting you to the back of the line. We spoke for one minute and because of that she decided to be petty and make me wait for everyone in the court to talk to her before calling me up to put in my plea. It was a complete power trip on her part and although she probably has a miserable life she doesn't need to bring that energy into court. I don't think it is right to have a person of such low manner be in a position like this. Everyone else was very nice but she ruined the entire experience.

You can't rely on them for legal advice, or for accurately passing on information about what you're supposed to do in the event you should find yourself needing to know what you're supposed to do, but they smile, and they're not mean. Not like some municipal court employees, who are mean, and don't smile, and act like it's all they can do not to call a judge and ask him to hold you in contempt. Stay away if you can.
