PIP Marketing Signs Print

PIP Marketing Signs Print

I recently had the pleasure of working with PIP for for my project at Paseo Nuevo Mall. I needed a…read morevery specific, thin material for a sign to fit within a tight frame, and they not only had the exact material but also delivered the sign with an impressively quick turnaround time. It took about a week, maybe even just four days, after placing the order for the sign to be ready. I was given the option to receive the sign by mail or pick it up. Since they're local in Goleta, I decided to have my assistant pick it up. Thanks to their speed, we were able to have the sign up by the weekend. It fit perfectly in the right frame. The quality is top-notch: the sign is sturdy, the print is beautiful, and it's ready to handle all the outdoor elements. Moreover, their pricing is very reasonable. It's a pleasure doing business with a woman-owned company that demonstrates integrity and professionalism. My only minor complaint would be that their location can be a bit tricky to find using GPS. If you're driving out to their place, be sure to get specific directions beforehand to avoid driving all over the neighborhood. Overall, I am thrilled with PIP Marketing's professionalism, product, and turnaround time. I highly recommend them for your marketing and signage needs!

They emailed proofs for my approval and had the job done right away. They are located in the parking lot behind the popular "Habit" hamburger stand, but don't let the lack of a fancy storefront turn you off. You'll be happy with what they do; we were.

I had plugged in the dimensions and weight on the UPS app on my phone and it gave me a rate of $72.98 to ship my package to the east coast. If I had been home I would've printed out a label and just dropped it off, but I was out running errands and figured I'd just have them issue the label for me. The clerk weighed and measured my package and told me the cost would be over $115. He had added an additional inch in each direction to my box dimensions! My box had measured 26 1/2" x 16 1/8 x 9 15/16" (so rounding up to the nearest inch 27x17x10). He charged me for 28x18x11, and told me they had to "round up". I said that I already HAD rounded up. A rude young man came over and looked at the screen as I grabbed a tape measure and pointed out the error in their measurements. His response was, "Well, if you want to ship it with us, that's the price!" So my response to him was, "Well then, I won't be shipping it with you because that's just downright dishonest!" I went home, printed my own label and was prepared to drive it out to Staples to drop it off, but encountered my local UPS driver as I pulled out of my driveway. He scanned and took my package for me. I'll never go to the Calle Real location ever again. Absolutely rude, unprofessional and unethical!!

I placed an order for a digital course reader for a UCSB course on 2/16/21. However, right after…read moreordering I immediately noticed my Professor had posted the readings online and therefore my purchase was no longer necessary. I emailed them 6 minutes later explaining this and kindly requested a refund--especially given that I had not been given access to the digital reader as of yet. An employee named Jay replies the following day requesting a screenshot of my Professor having uploaded the readings--as if he was implying that by providing the screenshot, I would then receive my refund. Admittedly, I found this a bit suspicious at first, as I am not sure what sort of agreement the SBprinter has with professors regarding uploading PDFs of the readings and I did not want to be in the middle of that possible dispute, so I did not provide the screenshot at first and reiterated my refund request. A day later I decided to provide the requested screenshot anyway, as I just wanted the refund as quickly as possible. After providing Jay with the screenshot, Jay replies several hours later and bluntly states that there are no refunds for reader purchases, and did not mention anything about the screenshot I provided. Why he requested a screenshot and waited until after he received it to tell me that there are no refunds is beyond me and, quite frankly, is disingenuous and only furthers my suspicions. One would think that people would have more empathy during these trying times over a simple mistake and refund request--especially toward students on which their business is effectively reliant on. As of now, over 3 days after placing my order, I have received neither my requested refund nor access to the digital reader in which I paid for. I called the store earlier today and the woman I spoke to told me that Jay, who is responsible for handling the readers, is typically very quick in delivering the digital readers within a day. I sent another email to Jay today reiterating my simple refund request since I've yet to been given access to the reader and there's been zero harm done. If they persist in not refunding, then I've asked to please just give me access to the service I paid for within the next day--any later will render the digital reader useless to me as we are approaching the end of the quarter.
