Sharon and Chalma, the Adventure Guides at Adventure Point in Sulphur Louisiana told us to make sure we visited the Pintail Wildlife Drive & Boardwalk if we wanted to see some gators up close. They were spot on! We spotted multiple gators in the marsh while driving slowly around loop and had several come out of the marsh right up to the edge of the roadway. The family and I were amazed to see them so close in the wild. I definitely recommend visiting The Pintail Wildlife Drive. Make sure you drive slowly and when you spot a gator, stop and watch them come out of the marsh right up the embankment. AWESOME!

It would've been helpful if there were signs but I couldn't find any for the life of me upon entry. Luckily the park wasn't busy so we just chose the side that had a bigger dog. Didn't want my 70lb dog intimidating some small dog's owners. The park had tons of dog agility and obstacle equipment like tunnels, adjustable jumps and A-frames. Lots of fun for the dogs and great place to teach an old dog new tricks. Not a huge dog park but still nice. Unfortunately, there are some "land mines" from people that don't watch and pick up after their pups. Those folks ruin it for everyone. Just watch your step!
