I would say the big time corporate thing isn't really for me. this is a business with chains and lots of employees. I prefer smaller businesses with less employees. I felt comfortable enough to get my Brazilian as scheduled. Scheduling is super easy online. I chose a technician based on previous Yelp reviews. She did a great job but seemed to be in a bit of a hurry. Of course a quick wax is never a bad thing. The previous place I went to was a small business, just a lone aesthetician so no worries about gossip. She would go behind a curtain while I undressed and also provided a towel for modesty. This is def not the case here. It's just drop trow in the open room while she mixed the wax and climb on the bed. I was in the Navy and lived on a ship where there was no such thing as privacy so I can handle it- it just wasn't ideal. It's also much more commercial than my small business friend. They try to sell products and the only decor in a wax room are ads on the walls. I'd prefer more of a spa vibe than a "give me your money" vibe. Now that I think of it, the walls were stale white with a poster advertisement not even a bit of cozy vibes. The paper liner on the table was noisy and ripped as I climbed up. This is very different than the warm sheets from my previous aesthetician. Joanna did a great job- in fact, a better job than my lone aesthetician. I booked another but I'm still kinda up in the air if I want to return to a smaller business that doesn't do as great of a job but ensures modesty and makes you feel like more if a person and less like a number or keep my appointment here. I had a consultation with Sara Sharnowski. She was very kind. She explained the type of lasers Premier uses and the process of the hair removal. Amy Cygan was the laser technician and she was VERY knowledgeable and thorough and the pain wasn't bad at all. When I got home I started freaking out that I dropped so much money in one day and I actually thought about just paying for that first session and getting my money back on the next 8 sessions I prepaid for UNTIL 5-7 days later my hair started falling out. It was amazing. My skin is SOOO much smoother and I would say I have 50% less hair after 1 treatment. I am truly impressed and feel like I made a great investment.
