Show up late. And then to make things worse. And add insult to injury. They pad their bills. We live approximately 100 km from the nearest major Center. Because of this we're used to having to pay mileage for people to come up and work on our equipment here in the restaurant. But I have to tell you that I really do feel. That Being charged $500 for travelling time. To drive out here and back. Is absolutely ridiculous. Another thing That they do to pad the bill. Is a try to make a route in the morning? To minimize the amount of travelling which only makes sense. However, the customers are still billed. As though they were leaving Red Deer. For example the day they came here. They had to stop in Old which is approximately halfway. They will Bill. Customer from Red Deer to Old back to Red Deer. Then they will come from old directly to my place. And once again Bill me as though they were coming from Red Deer. Directly to my place and back to Red Deer. And they are also the only company that I've ever heard of or dealt with in my entire life that charges both a mileage rate. And an hourly rate for driving those miles. Where Buy in actuality double billing you for the same thing. There are many other. Very good and honest companies to deal with with in the Red Deer area. So I would not recommend anybody use these people.

After only a few months, the bed railing broke due to extremely poor-quality materials. When I went to the store to file a warranty claim, I was told to come back another time because the person in charge of claims was not available. When I returned a few weeks later, I was then told that I had to call three different stores in Calgary just to find out which one my claim had been assigned to. This was an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. I will never shop there again.

My elderly Mom and I went to look at the tables and began pulling apart the leaf on the one we were interested in while the group of employees continued their chatting amongst themselves. No one approached us or offered help at all. When we went up to the desk we still were not noticed until I said "excuse me". After purchasing the table ( against my wishes but my Mom really liked it) we turned to leave and I said goodbye but they had gone back to chatting and did not hear me. When the day of delivery came after making many adjustments to our day and moving things around to make way for the new table including getting rid of the old one we waited. And we waited, tracked delivery - on truck and on it's way. Waited and waited, it was now 8:30 pm. Called the store, no answer. In short it did not show up. We did not receive a call nor a text to tell us why. Next day I called and a boy answered after being having my story being interrupted several times I asked to speak to the manager. I got an assistant manager who went on to say that the soonest they can get it delivered would be in 5 days. She had no idea what happened and couldn't find out for me as to why there was no phone call. She also told me "I actually like old people" when I explained my parents whom are elderly would no where to eat till then. She went on to tell me that "we are not amazon and can't guarantee a delivery day or time". I again asked to talk to the manager but the assistant manager said she would get her to call me. The manager never called me. Currently we await for the next delivery date which is tomorrow. Needless to say I will be going back to Leon's for any future purchases and will not be recommending The Brick to anyone I know.

Florkowsky's was hired to bring my kitchen design to fruition. I initially met with Jason…read moreFlorkowsky who came out to the condo to take measurements, and continued to work directly with him throughout the process. My must haves were semi gloss lacquer upper cabinets and continuous horizontal grain walnut base cabinets to go over my freshly laid polished porcelain Calacatta marble floor tiles. Florkowsky's was hired approximately Feb 30/15. They removed the old kitchen cabinets and built and installed brand new cabinets and I had a fully functional kitchen with exactly what I had asked for by May 6/15. Overall the timeframe to completion was a bit long however I can't fault Florkowsky's entirely for that. What is more important to me is the overall outcome of my kitchen and I must say I am in LUV! Here are a couple of examples of what this company will do to ensure the client is happy: 1) I could not decide on the finish/ how much gloss I wanted on the upper cabinetry. I finally decided on 25 %, the upper cabinets were all installed and when I saw them I didn't like the finish, it was too matte. The installers removed all the doors, took them back to the shop, resprayed them with 40% and reinstalled them. 2) ordered multiple sheets of walnut veneer until I found the "ones" 3) I picked out all the cabinet hardware, it was ordered and delivered and then I changed my mind. I found some other cabinet hardware online that I preferred and Jason got it for me! Would I recommend this company? Yes, in a heartbeat! Combine all of the above with quality materials and craftsmanship and impeccable attention to detail, it's a win win and what you will get if you hire Florkowsky's. This is a company that truly cares about the customer. I thought I was picky but Florkowsky's installers exceeded my expectations and I could not be happier. I love my kitchen so much, if I could...
