I just found this page so I though I would leave an honest review. First off, it is VERY difficult to maintain an establishment literally in the middle of nowhere, so it obviously won't be up to standards. It had a pretty scenic view, and the rest rooms worked, however could use a good cleaning. Graffiti all over the stalls. Still, its a pretty interesting place, though I would not recommend drinking their water, due to the fact that it is stored in a massive tank visible above ground and can be contaminated.

This rest area was one of my favorites when I travelled through Utah in a Penske truck…read more There was plenty of space for the truck I was driving and for other vehicles no matter how big or small you are. LOL. I just happened to be driving a load of belongings for a family member retiring to Nevada and I graciously decided to help drive their stuff to. There were many stops along the way but this was definitely one of the most scenic road stops I've ever been to. It has been a while since that drive but checking some of my in draft reviews, I saw I had this hanging waiting to be finished. I can't believe this stop only has one review which is why I wanted to boost the profile. The bathrooms and facilities are clean and the parking is spacious but the best part is this beautiful canyon side view. Don't miss this narrow walking path to a higher point where you can take super picturesque shots of the canyon. It is behind the Welcome to Utah sign and bring some water for the steep incline. This was unexpected and I ended up spending way longer than usually checking out the grounds. As I recall, looking at my photos, there was a squirrel that followed me around. He was friendly but kept his distance, I wish I had some food for my new friend, I think he just wanted to make sure I saw all the best parts of the Canyon. He was the best tour guide ever. If I ever drive by Utah again, I'm sure I will stop here with some food my my little buddy and to take a breath and enjoy the view.

About pilot it's one of the most trusted place to get your gas. Nobody mentions out there that pilot protects our customers from skimmers and thieves. As other gas stations don't. If you go to other gas stations they don't have alarms inside the gas panels or skimmer sticker protection that the panels show secured. The restrooms are always clean over here or most pilots are always super clean. I was just literally across the street at a gas station and the restrooms are filthy. This place is easy to shop I got my coffee they got some awesome to go food and I was on my way. Here's what I learned about pilot. They're all about food safety they have to discard all their food if it's expired within few hours. So now I know I'm eating something safe and my hunger is satisfied lol. I recommend their Pizza or any of their fried tenders or chickens :) Mmm!!

We saw that they have a viewing platform and decided to stop here this time and take a look. It's a cool feature, but the view is just ok. You're up about a story high looking over the freeway at the side you wish you were on. Like I said, you really have to be traveling on the WB side to enjoy the flats. The rooms were clean, the fridge was quiet, the internet worked great, and the bed was comfortable. One of the best features for me was that the shower heads are at least 7 feet up the wall; I am 6 feet tall and it is really uncomfortable when I stay at hotels with shower heads that are so low that I have to duck down to get my head under the water. If you are tall, you will love this hotel. If you enjoy hot tubs, they have a room with a large jetted hot tub built into it that only runs about $15 more per night. The included breakfast there is great; not only do they have the waffle maker, juice machine, cold cereal, yogurts, and pastries that most hotel chains offer, but they also provide scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, fried potatoes, tortillas and oatmeal. The breakfast room attendants are very friendly and helpful, (Hedy who was there when I stayed, was amazing!) and will even offer to make you omelettes with choices of ham, cheese, bell peppers, onions and jalepenos They have a nice indoor pool and hot tub as well as a workout room.
