Well this is an amazing neighborhood where over 300 houses get together and decorate for this holiday event. They even supply a map of the best route to take to be able to see everything. It runs from Thanksgiving night until New Years Day. The event is free but there's spots along the route to make donations. Each year they give the donations to a different organization. We went to this nursery last May and bought a bunch of outdoor shrubs/bushes: 6 rhododendrons & 2 roses - spent almost $700 in total! Unfortunately, ALL 6 rhodies died by mid-Fall, and one of the roses didn't make it through the winter. We went back to Urban Roots, bringing receipts + pictures of the dead plants, still in their mulched beds next to healthy others. It was then we first learned that Urban Roots does not guarantee any of their plants, even $69 Rhododendron! This is surprising since most or all nurseries I've been to provide at least 1 year's worth, it's notable that I've only used once in 50+ years! Anyway, selection was solid with all the expected types, and the initial experience was fine. Just beware "PRODUCTS ARE SOLD AS IS!"
