But not only that, they are prompt and come like clockwork everytime. They weed eat and now and they sweep up all the trimmings, making it look even nicer. And I think he might also water my flowers too if they need it. Which is above and beyond what I expected or even asked for! That's definitely something you want from a landscaper!!! I believed for a lot of years that I could put my own weed killer, pest control, and fertilizer on…read moremy lawn. With few exceptions, I spent a little less than a service costs and at some point ran into a problem that either ruined my yard or negated the hard work. Sometimes I'd spend $50 on treatments and it would rain, sometimes I'd spend $50 and it wouldn't rain. Sometimes I'd spend $75 and later find out that I did it at the wrong time. Sometimes I did it at the right time but not enough... you get the point. This is the beginning of the third season Duvall Lawn Care has been taking care of my lawn and I have never been disappointed. It looks amazing and while I haven't done the math, I'm pretty sure that the cost of having someone do it right, is worth way more than trying to do it yourself. Unless you want to spend a good part of your free weekends researching the right treatments and application and then getting out there and doing it. Duvall guarantees their work and if you have a problem, they'll take care of it. And by problem, I mean a weed. Can you imagine seeing a weed in your yard and calling someone to dispatch a pro to get rid of it. They're just a phone call away. They don't do mowing or landscaping but they can make a recommendation to set that up if you need it. Totally worth it.

In the wake of the storms that devastated NW Iowa (late July 2025), we had a huge pine tree that was dangerously leaning over a neighbor's garage and shed. The crew handled it in short order -- quickly, cleanly, and safely. We did ask for only the cutting of the tree (not hauling away the branches and whatnot), but regardless the price they quoted was definitely within the range of normal quotes. We appreciated their not gouging us in a tough time.
