When I returned to my hotel I took the short walk and was very pleasantly surprised. I had the Schweinrouladen with potatoes and sauerkraut. The food was excellent !!! Added to this was a very nice apfelstrudel with ice cream and whipped cream. All of this with minerwasser for only 13.80 euros. A great meal for a small price. Alles war sehr Gut !!!!

Maybe we just picked the wrong meals or bad week to go there but it wasn´t good. Not at all. It was too salty, like if the Chef would put drop a salt caster into each of our plates. No taste at all. So maybe like one star for food. Two more stars are for the location, very good service and choice of beers. But I probably wont come back again.

It was the worst culinary experience I have made in Berlin in the past years. I had an impression,…read morethe cook is simply sabotaging the owners, as there was no reason for food being prepared so loveless: Potatoes - cooked not long enough Beans - no taste, no spice Salad - tasteless sauce Tomatoes as side - not ripe and in huge pieces Meat - hard Basically not a single component of both dishes we ordered was eatable. Furthermore, we waited for the food very long and got not even a mini reduction after a reclamation. It was definitely my first and last time there. Now it's clear, why not a single of the locals drinking their beers there was eating sth.

The least German thing possible: the mango curry. What? Are you crazy, Jeff? Is this a joke? No. This is the best damn curry I've had in my life. Get it here. There was a whole mango in there and the spices blended in such a heavenly way the apostles would shed a tear. The slow cooked beef was good as well but let's be honest there is nothing that can beat the curry in the country. There is only one waiter, who is very patient and willing to translate the only-German menu for you. The restaurant itself is a bit small, but on a weekday for lunch we did not find it to be too crowded. Highly recommended if you are in Potsdam!
