I find the staff here extremely pleasant and professional and the clinic itself is bright and clean. My therapist, Elizabeth, has been great in our sessions - I am the kind of person who likes to understand why we're doing something and she is patient to explain what she's doing and why it'll help. It's pretty easy to book appointments and their hours are convenient (both open early and into the evenings). I do wish there were weekend hours and the ability to book appointments online.

When I arrived in Edmonton, a family member recommended I contact Optimize Physiotherapy to continue treatment. I followed up and had two appointments with Aaron before I returned to Fort McMurray. He thoroughly evaluated my shoulder and asked about my previous injuries and any other treatment I had received. He provided exceptional treatment and a rehabilitation protocol that I continue to follow. I believe his experience as a trained professional and an athlete is invaluable. When I attended the fourth appointment, after I had check in, I was met by my actual therapist "Taylor". She proceeded to yak a strip off of me over this, making me feel humiliated,angry and belittled for doing what I did. Needless to say this is not the type of therapy I expected. Not knowing what shape mentally and physically a patient can be in, this is not a very professional conduct by the "therapist" in question. Just a fair warning to you all, thanks.

Prices are average as physical therapy goes, but the people who work there really know what they're doing, and are happy to explain the process and techniques to you. The technique also works, if you stick with it, and for many, myself included, diligence is the difficult part. They have a series of roughly eight to ten private rooms, which are used in the massage and electro-therapy sessions (not as painful as it sounds), and serve as a nice touch. The biggest grief for me was the restricted working hours - if I work 9 - 5, how am I supposed to get down here on time? Innovation does tend to be over-worked - typically they have only one or two doctors to cover all the patients, so you can wind up waiting for the doctor to come back during your appointment. Not a fan of that, but I understand. If you need a place to recover after an injury, this is definitely a good way to go!

Brayden was my therapist and helped me improve ALOT we started from 0 and came at at least 8 out of 10 for mobility and pain which is a great achievement. When Brayden was away, the rest of the staff that worked on me knew about my issues and helped me just as much. Front staff was always super nice and great with scheduling. Really great experience overall!
