Staff was very thoughtful. For.er client who benefitted from the 114 days I was in the program. The BHTs are on their game. They were very compassionate and understanding of my needs. I got out of it what I put into it. 110 percent. Food was good and balanced for nutrition and never told me I could eat what I wanted. The classes are engaging and as you immerse yourself into program, very precise in achieving one's mental clarity. The classroom facilitators were very knowledgeable and very including to one's recovery. The care is superb. Staff was always there when you needed someone to talk to. From the care of the drivers to the care of psyche nurse. I left there feeling like a whole new person that with the copi g skills they teach you am able to grow in recovery be a better whole person physically, emotionally, and spiritually be ause of their expert care. read more

This is a recovery based program that has no business stating they're an inpatient mental health facility. I am bipolar and had my meds withheld from me - causing further damage. When they finally gave me my own meds I physically brought there (weird), I hadn't slept in over 24 hrs. The "prescriber" was a bitchy nurse who is grossly under qualified for her position - in fact, every staff member was extremely unprofessional and not clinically competent. I am not an addict. Yet they forced me to cold turkey stop my ADHD meds and only finally gave me my anxiety medication because if I were to cold turkey it I could actually die. They wouldn't give me my antipsychotic to sleep. They legitimately made me more sick. They all lie, are in recovery, can't be trusted, steal, and hold against will. I cried all night the ONE night I was forced to be there. It was traumatizing. Truly. These recovery weirdos have no business running a facility for mental health disorders. So much smoking. No oversight. They didn't feed me. AWFUL and truly should face harsh consequences from the way they misrepresent themselves. read more

I would like to say as far as communication that they do a great job.. But sadly that is not the case.. Matt called me a liar. I told him what i was told from there staff regarding updates.. And he told me that i was never told that i would get daily updates on my wife's treatment. I had to kick and scream to find out information.. Then he only did it for a short time to basically shut me up.. Then told me i would only get get twice weekly updates. The treatment may be great.. But there communication absolutely sucks. To ad to this review.. If you think that they will provide any type of support to the family. You are totally incorrect.. They may say that they will but its just them blowing hot air to get another client in the door. Piss poor communication leads to mad family members. Not knowing how your loved on is doing helps the family start to heal as well. And if Matt is your loved ones CM, sad to say you wont find out much.. And the only reason i left one star is because they dont have negative stars.. So i hope someone from NFA reads these.. Its time to improve communication with the families folks.. read more

If you care about your loved one and their sobriety do not send them to this place, or any place affiliated with Granite State Recovery. The place is disgusting. The women's bathroom broke so they had to start using the men's bathroom. During the day, individuals from the half way house come here to take the same classes as those living in house even in the current covid 19 pandemic. They trash up the house and those living in the house is expected to clean it. They do not provide any masks. Don't believe that they will treat any type of substance abuse, they only go over alcohol abuse. Some people do not meet with their case manager for over a week and when they do it's for 5-10 minutes tops. I was told that there would be 1:1 counseling services but that is not the case. Everything is group and you will not get the attention you need. They tell you, you can walk their trails but this is not the case. If you tell them you don't want meds they will prescribe them anyway and then when you refuse them you will get written up. After I arrived I received a binder, a notebook, a pen, highlighters, an Alcoholics Anonymous book, shown my room and then had to figure things out on my own. The staff did not explain anything. When I met with my case worker to discuss my leaving arrangements he told me what I wanted to hear and never contact my emergency contact. The day before I actually spoke with my case worker, I spoke to a nurse (I don't think the staff is qualified to do their job) and told her I had an agreement during Intake and the person I spoke with on the phone before arriving of when I would leave and she told me she tried to get my emergency contact to lie to me and tell me my family didn't want me back. If you want to file a grievance about anything, you are asked to write down your concerns, put it in the box and then "pray on it" and it will be addressed within 24 hours - this is not the case. Sometimes there are no grievances slips and when you tell the staff they tell you to file a grievance about it. When I spoke to the person over the phone and provided him my insurance information he told me the services was completely free but when I did Intake I noticed on the form that I had a 5k bill that will be due. They do not update your loved ones. My emergency contact was told by the manager that my case worker would contact him but my case worker never did. My emergency contact spent hours on the phone trying to track him down. The staff is rude and you are seen as an inconvenience. There is no structure. When you arrive you will not have phone privileges for 7 *business* days. Insanely understaffed and continuing to accept new patients. The only way you will get any attention to your concerns is if you threaten to walk. This place is all about the money. Even though there are spare bedrooms, you will be put with a roommate. Do your research before going here or sending your loved ones here (if you have the choice) read more

When you voluntarily sign yourself in hoping they would actually help you, but they admit you in, ask for insurance info than basically forget about you. It is also way understaffed but take on too many patients at a time and don't give every person the attention and help they want or need. They state in their admissions binder to not ask others for help but basically leave you on your own to figure it out and don't guide you. The website and admissions employees make this place seem like disney land or a solution to all your problems but fail to deliver a majority of services they offer online and over the phone. The lack of communication in this place is reprehensible not to mention how disorganized and disconnected this place actually is. I'm glad this 12 step program works for some people i'm happy some people actually got what they needed out of this place but for a first treatment center i'm definitely not impressed whatsoever. I'm not the only person who voiced my opinion either however they fail to listen to patients recommendations or suggestions. The website also states there is a gym you can attend, we were recently informed that patients are not allowed to leave the premises so don't fall for that promising feature. Overall they were not helpful and I left 2 weeks in because it's more of a money pit than anything and if anything it served as a deterrent to never go back to a treatment facility if they are all ran like this. I would never recommend this place and would find somewhere else to go but unfortunately some people didn't have an option and had to complete their "program" but for others who can see through their manipulative tactics to get people to stay so they can max out their benefits from their insurance companies it's more of a disappointment and a let down. read more
