Fast greens today. Fairways not bad. Cart paths full of ruts, potholes filled with water from yesterday's rain. Fun course to play with sloping holes and some elevation changes. Not much in pro shop. Brewvino food is good. read more

Without a doubt, the worst golf course I've ever played. Horrible condition . Fairways, tee boxes , greens all in bad shape. Layout was childish. No directions to next tees. Course has no irrigation so everything was like playing on cement. Literally, couldn't get tees into the ground . Started off with the guy behind the counter telling me $32 to play was the cheapest course around. Flat out lied !! I said he should check out Cool Creek and a number of other courses that are cheaper and in much better condition. Hard to believe someone would play this course more than once. read more

course used to be one of the best, considering it's the oldest course in York, you would expect something along those lines. idk if it's brewvinos fault but it's become a joke. unqualified pro shop employees who act like their running a country club. Gentleman told me on the phone that I could play the whole course before league, changed the tune and said if it was backed up I could get a rain check for the back. changed his tune again and instead refunded me the difference which doesn't cover 9 holes lol Florida hat man is giving my state and your business a bad name. it's sad seeing how this place is more for amateurs who don't care for the game or practice common courtesy. it's even sadder when the employees practice that same behavior. Save your money and go literally anywhere else. honey run up the road actually takes itself seriously. briarwood and hickory are close and also have websites in working order for tee times. Dont contribute to the failing system that is grandview. its mediocre attitude reflects negatively in the grounds, service, food, and entire organization. read more

Nice course in good shape. Busy but not rushed or waiting. staff was very friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed playing there.

Not a fan. Visited my cousin (who's a member) on vacation. Poorly cut greens. Huge divots in the fairway, member clearly don't care to fill. Also other members were very rude at the turn. Wouldn't visit again. read more

Great golf course! Challenging and in great shape! always moves at a steady pace even when crowded.

This course is pretty decent. Has a few challenging holes. I'm an average player, so... I always have a fun time playing here. I am over seeing everyone post how this is some racist course though. That's bull crap. There was an incident that happened multiple years ago, that from what I was told by ACTUAL PEOPLE who were on the course that day, was completely blown out of proportion!!!! Now this place has a bad rap sheet. There is a new owner since that incident, and how anyone could still say the place is still a "racist course" is just absurd to me. Played this course last August. Although the new owners had put in some new carts and were touting their BrewVino brand, I missed the feel from the previous ownership. The course was sold in 2017 after 50 years and the old owners were friendly and accommodating. Let's face it, there are plenty of options in York. My husband and I had played there five times since we married and our sixth, with the new owners, was a disappointment. It all felt ungraceful, put-on, just for show, like a croissant at a motel Continental breakfast bar. Maybe that schtick works for the members, but we've played many of the best courses and advised our friends who are members to consider joining us at Regents Glen. Other friends have gotten more amenities for their money at Briarwood which is just as close and doesn't have the pushy owners and staff. read more

Awful customer service. Course was closed and they never notified customers. Never stopped tee times on Golf Now. I show up at the course and the asshole in charge looks at me like I have 10 heads and told me to pound sand. No sorry, no apology, no nothing. Basically acted like I was inconveniencing him. He didn't believe me when I said I had a tee time. Essentially told me when I asked how to get my money back, "not my problem". Just disgusting attitude. Will never go back. Ever. This whole course, with the exceptions of the green is a rough course. No, not hard just every fairway feels like playing out of the rough because of the decision to not cut the grass. Hitting a ball in the middle of the fairway but still losing it because the grass is too long. Not mention the pro shop guy running out to fuss at us for not playing with a certain twosome who had just teed off while we were still 20 minutes early. Not going back here, even if it were free. Played this course on May 29, with my wife, son-in-law and grandson - course was in very ragged condition - tees were chewed up and littered with broken tees - greens were the "longest" I have ever experienced on a vacation destination course - I am an 8 handicap and have played all over the world - the 9th hole is virtually unplayable due to excessive over growth of reeds and sponge grass in front of the green - it was like putting on broccoli - the course did not enforce it's own published dress code - the twosome in front of us were dressed in totally inappropriate sexually suggestive clothing - the course general manager has not responded to my phone calls, voice mail, email and 1st class mail attempts to discuss my dissatisfaction - I recommend that this facility be avoided read more

Well-maintained course in a nice part of York. Mature trees and creeks provide a very nice atmosphere. My only criticism of this course is its snake-style holes. If you slice or hook your ball off the tee box, you'll end up 3 holes away. So, improve your game before heading here. (Maybe I'm just really bad...) But overall, a nice course for a decent price. read more

Nice staff and nice coarse, just wish the tee boxes would be clearly marked. Had to do some detective work just to make sure we were hitting off the correct box and right direction. But still a good time. read more

Grandview was one of the easier courses I've played, but was also one of the most run down courses I've played. It is full of clay, dust, dirt, and the bridges are beat up. Overall, the course is similar to what another wrote on yelp = a dog track. It's just a really cheap course to play and overall you get what you pay for. But sometimes I can appreciate a cheap round of golf, on greens where the ball just keeps rolling. read more

I visited as a guest of a colleague who's a member here and the experience was TERRIBLE. The staff was so rude my colleague actually apologized to me and was visibly embarrassed. Greens are dangerously close to tee box, I heard "FOUR!" more times than I have at any other course before. You basically need to wear a helmet or just stay on guard the entire time. Worse layout I've ever seen. You can't even tell which direction you should be hitting in. Also there's no a cart path and tee boxes aren't clearly marked which made it difficult to find the next hole, we literally had to head back to the clubhouse for directions to take the guess work out of it. The staff was borderline hostile and the members were unwelcoming. Overall was a poor experience and not worth the money. Definitely won't be back. read more

Great golf course. Well maintained. The greens are fast and true. The staff and patrons there are very friendly and helpful. Great price to play a round. The bad posts about this golf course are just black people wanting to once again use their race card because they were playing way to slow and being obnoxious, as usual. read more

We have had a baby shower and an anniversary shower at Grandview and everything was wonderful! For both parties we made a custom menu, which was easy, and we were allowed in before the party to decorate. The food was great, service was excellent and we would absolutely use the facilities again! read more

To start, this review is not influenced by the apparent "racist" incident a while back. Purely golf only. That being said, it's a dog track. Typical cheap muni track with overgrown fairways where it's hard to distinguish between fairway and rough and absolutely destroyed and unkempt tee boxes. Greens are decent but a bit hairy and slow. Never experience any of the "pushiness" from the owners like others have said, but the quality of golfers that plays there is pretty bad and can slow down your round. If you want to go out as a single and blow through 18 in 2 hours for practice its a decent spot. If you want to shell out close to 40+ on the weekend for a course not worth 25, you might as well head over to Briarwood or pay a little extra and play Honey Run. read more
