This is not a "luxury" apartment by any stretch of the imagination. The owner cut corners when this place was built 3 or 4 years ago and put in cheap materials near the windows. When it rains, the water comes into most residents' homes and leaks right in ruining blinds, walls and your furniture. Drive by and see all the scaffolding. That's what they are finally fixing. Except the guys they hired to do the repairs are bottom of the barrel and take a long, long time to get the job done. They are milking the clock, take tons of breaks, leave saw dust and debris on your patio and ruin anything you stored on your balcony, like bikes, patio chairs, etc. If you want to sleep at night, don't live here! The walls are paper thin and you can constantly hear your upstairs neighbors walking around and it is LOUD. I can hear my next door neighbor's TV so clearly that I can tell what show they are watching. I can hear everytime their toilet flushes too. The staff here are unfortunately very lazy and not very motivated to take care of their residents. When you complain, they do absolutely nothing about it. And when you move out, they will charge you a ton of money for every little thing...even things that were there before you moved in! You will be lucky to find a parking spot even if you are a resident. They have a "security guard" who walks around with a bright yellow safety vest but this person does nothing except sit on the gazebo and look out at the water or go for walks all day. Meanwhile, people who do not live here park their cars here and then go walk to the beach or area restaurants. Security does nothing and I have come home countless times and not be able to park in the parking lot because every single parking space is taken! When you move in, they guarantee you will have two parking spaces for your unit. Such BS! Grandview are a bunch of crooks, having the nerve to call this place "luxury" and charge "luxury prices." read more
