It's a spacious apartment that is really kept up which is very appreciated. When I had some little minor repairs and things that occurred, she responded quickly and helped me out. Jasmine (complex leasing manager) does an exceptional job at addressing things promptly and ensuring a solution is reached. She'll remain on sight after hours to see things through, if needed. I can honestly say working with Jasmine is what brought me back to Forest Ridge a few years later when my housing situation changed. She's easy to work with, extremely flexible and just an all around fabulous person. She cares...and that shows...plain and simple. Maintenance staff is also prompt and willing to help however they can. Can't say enough about my experience here. The units themselves may not always stand out in any particular way (though as I mentioned - they are spacious, some have fireplaces or a nice patio area), but it's everything else that sells it!

This was a formerly bad neighborhood which was known for it's meth production and most recently in building 1611 there was a report of a kitchen fire due to meth production. It is quickly deteriorating back to it's meth roots. Do not move here, it is cheaply constructed and not maintained well. Your neighbors will be poor college kids and people who hang out on the stoop in front of the apartment all day. Have had things stolen out of the vehicle and known of a neighbor that had their vehicle broken into. Do not move here if you have the finances to go elsewhere.

Every month there is a new notification plastered on everyone's door telling about new inspection or new requirement going into affect. The most recent being notification that rent is going up by $50/month and grills can only be stored in garages or in separate designated areas. The price of the apartment might start out reasonable - $880 - but quickly goes w/ needed amenities - water: $25, garage: $45, crappy washer dryer: $45, etc. For being an older complex it charges like it's brand new - going to be moving out and get what my money is worth.

We were told the mold disclosure was something they had to put in with the lease documentation, but they don't have a mold problem...lie! If you look up in the bedroom and bathroom vents it's there. They disclosed about the mold, but not about grills. The grill rule was disclosed via newsletter on our door. If you think you're going to store your grill on the balcony or patio, you can't. As of April 1, if you have a grill on your balcony or patio, you will be fined $25 a day. We were told maintenance would come to the apartment 2 times a year to change filters and perform semi annual maintenance and we receive a notice closer to monthly saying they'll be in our apartment. The water heater is behind a locked door and since the last filter change/maintenance visit, the temperature of the water has gone down. The fitness center equipment is old and outdated. On the positive side. They allow pets, but be prepared to pay a large deposit plus monthly pet rent. The apartments have w/d hookups, maintenence responds quickly, and there are many amenities close by.

The staff is super helpful and very responsive to any questions or maintenance requests you might have.
