This professional ballet company is a nonprofit that has been around since 2018, with their first full time season programming starting in 2022. I didn't really know what to expect as I've never read the Tempest and honestly wasn't familiar with the story, but they had a synopsis in the program which really helped me follow what was going on. I was blown away by the performances -- the dancers were incredible and the emotions that were conveyed without any speaking were amazing. It was also very funny at times! The costumes and props added so much to the performance and I am still thinking about the show. I'm so excited to see more from Deos Ballet, including their adults-only rendition of the Nutcracker called Cracked Nuts! I love that we have so many options for fine arts in Grand Rapids and will continue to support Deos Ballet for years to come.

There are many different styles, levels, & class/program options available for the young, developing, recreational, & competitive dancer, with each class taught & led by an accredited dance professional. When I was a young teen aspiring to dance on a university dance team, I knew the studio that would help me accomplish my hopes & dreams - Dance Dimensions. The instructors at Dance Dimensions provided me with individualized training from 1999-2006 & led me to experience my dream of dancing both collegiately (on GVSU's Laker Dance Team) & professionally (on the former GR Arena Football League's Rampage RAGE Dance Team). I don't know if I could have made these teams if it weren't for their encouragement, support, dedication to helping me achieve my goals, & their professional dance expertise. As a mom of 3 dancers, there was no other studio in my mind to select for my children's dance training. My daughters have participated in both recreational & competitive dance at Dance Dimensions since 2013 & our experience has been nothing but superb with instructors, studio professionalism, performance opportunities, & more. Under NEW ownership as of 2023, I am confident Dance Dimensions will continue to thrive in reputation, respect & credibility both regionally & nationally for years to come

My daughter has had two classes so far with two different instructors, and they've both been fantastic experiences. The instructors are very attentive to what is going on with the students, and for those parents that take an interest in their child's progress (such as myself), they'll engage you and let you know how things are going and make comments and recommendations after classes. She starts her third class there in a couple weeks, so needless to say I'm very pleased. My daughter loves it and is truly excelling at the hands of the Dance Dimensions' instructors.
