I am reaching out regarding a vehicle towing matter at Ashford Briar Point (11710 Briar Forest…read moreDrive) that occurred on June 27, 2025, while I was out of town for work. Despite repeated attempts to coordinate with the on-site office, the matter remained unresolved for several weeks, resulting in documented expenses. I am contacting you directly to request your review and assistance in resolving this fairly and efficiently.
My 2002 BMW X5 was towed from my reserved parking space. Between June 28 and August 8, I made multiple attempts to coordinate with the leasing office and management to resolve the situation, including contacting the tow yard directly to provide proof that the vehicle was parked in its assigned space. Without property authorization, the vehicle could not be released, and delays in response prolonged the issue.
Ultimately, I traveled to Houston beginning August 28 to personally coordinate recovery, arrange a flatbed tow, and ship the vehicle to my residence in Missouri to prevent additional storage charges and further expense.
As a result, I incurred the following documented expenses:
* Towing, storage, release fees, and flatbed transport: $1,715.06
* Vehicle shipping: $1,215.00
* Round-trip airfare to Houston: $673.00
* Lost wages for four workdays (August 28, 29, September 1, and 2): $2,505.16
Total: $6,108.22
I have complete documentation supporting the timeline and expenses and am happy to provide any materials you may need for review. My goal is to resolve this matter fairly and amicably, directly with ownership, however it is almost impossible to reach anyone that can make decisions.
