The employees were very nice. When I think of "gas station food", a very questionable hot dog that has been rolling on the warmer for three days usually comes to mind. But The Store has a wonderful food bar, next to the Subway that was actually quite enticing. I purchased some Bosco Stix and was pleased with them. This place is a great place to stop and fill up. If you want sugary treats, they are a plenty. I used to go out of my way to buy the chicken. I bragged to people it was the best. Now something has changed. The last two times it was sub par. Was talking to someone about it and he said the very same. We wonder if it is a new cook. I chose three stars because it is now a middle of the road service station. Never sure people will be happy you brought your business to them or if they wish you hadn't. The stores are always clean. I will give them that.

I went to pick up a medication recently, and the woman said it wasn't ready but would be in 15 minutes. Fine. I came back half an hour later, and she said, "You can't get that refiled until tomorrow." When I gently pointed out that she'd told me to come back to get it earlier, mostly trying to figure out which of her two responses was actually correct, she just shrugged and stared at me--no apology, no explanation, no actual kindness or service. I am VERY nice to people in customer-service positions, as I know they deal with jerks every day, so the rudeness was unnecessary. I have more of these stories, but I'll spare you. Also, I just sat on hold for 15 minutes at 7:30 p.m., and then someone picked up, grunted, and hung up on me. I always use the app/website, but on this rare occasion, I had to speak to someone. Fine, they're busy, but the automated hold message is straight out of hell. Perhaps they need to start accepting emails. If CVS still took our insurance, I'd switch over in a heartbeat.
