Veggie croquet: Tasted fine but I didnt love this. Beef stuffed inside bread: Its beautiful and looks like a chocolate truffle. It was a bit sweet for me, but overall it was fine. Artichoke leaves: Comes with a hefty portion of diced olives which my wife hates but she enjoyed the artichoke. Octopus shareable (I forget the name): My wife was floored by how good this was. She wanted 100 more... Chicken canneloni with foie gras: Decadent! Very tasty with lots of unique flavors. So rich and creamy, this was nothing like I expected and it was fantastic. Iberico ham and pasta (forgot the name): This was the star of the night! Very rich and decadent (I hate repeating myself but I have to). This dish will give you gout if eaten frequently. Utterly delicious. "French toast dessert": Their signature dessert for over 20 years. Imagine a better version of creme brulle but with French toast. It also comes with a scoop of hazelnut ice cream which really brings it all together. Definitely a fish forward restaurant, but their meat dishes stole the show.

The space is simple yet beautifully designed - clean lines, warm lighting, and a Nordic aesthetic that honestly reminded me of something you'd find in Copenhagen. Cozy, elegant, and unpretentious. Since we weren't too hungry, we focused on small bites and wine, and everything we tried was excellent - thoughtfully prepared, well-balanced, and clearly made with quality ingredients. A perfect match for the relaxed but refined atmosphere. Service was top-notch - genuinely friendly and attentive without being overbearing. You get the sense they care about what they're doing here. If I lived nearby, Viblioteca would definitely be in my regular rotation - ideal for anything from a casual glass of wine to a full dinner. A total standout in the Gràcia neighborhood. 5 stars

It's about a 6 minute taxi ride from there. We were seated in the back room with the writing covering the walls. The front bar seemed a little livelier but we took what was offered. Husband had house red wine (3.50 euros) and I had sangria (4.50 euros). Good pours for both. We started with the red shrimp (gambillos) in a lemongrass sauce, about 6 shrimp for 15 euros. Then grilled octopus (which was very tender) over mash potatos and snap peas for 15 euros. We also had a side of grilled bread (4 pieces) for 3.5. We also ordered the Pepita beef with mash potato but took home for dinner as we were full (18 euros). We finished with the homemade corn ice cream with carmelized popcorn and raspberries, which was very unique at 6.5. We added our names to the wall to top off the meal. Service was quick and friendly.
