We wanted you to see a flamenco show while in the Malaga area. We read the reviews so we knew what…read moreto expect. Yes, it's a "tourist trap," €15 per person for a a flamenco show that you are charged for with no prior warning.....but where else can you see flamenco for that price? They don't have a real stage; just a section of the restaurant, but the dancers were good and the show was just under an hour with 2 separate costumes. It was a little difficult to see the dancers from our table because of decorated columns/trees in the restaurant as well as other diners blocking the view.
We also read about the charges for anything extra that they bring to your table like bread at €10. (We saw every other table with a bread basket, and it did look quite good.). I ordered a hamburger which came with fries, and my sister ordered a few tapas items. The burger was actually quite good with a freshly baked bun and flavorful cheese. My sister had croquettes that had a stew-like filling, (not sure what it was,), but she said they were delicious. She also had a tapas made of zucchini, bacon and cheese which she said was also really good. It was a cute little restaurant with open air seating.
If you want to see flamenco in Spain, and don't want to spend an arm and a leg; or sit through a 3 hour event.....this is a good option. Just be aware that everything comes with an additional cost!
