FOOD POISONING WARNING My friend and I both had the goats cheese salad for lunch at this…read morerestaurant and within three hours we were both violently sick which continued all night. It's the only food we both ate that's the same. Also it was the goats cheese salad we were throwing up. I called to let the restaurant know to not serve the goats cheese salad, then when I did a follow up call the owner / manager I spoke to showed no understanding about health and safety precautions when it comes to food. This included him not knowing that salad alone can carry deadly bacteria (his response "salad can't make you sick") and that bad batches of goats cheese can be contaminated with listeria. Although he advised they checked the sell by date, I had to advise him on letting the suppliers know immediately. The staff need to go through food health and safety training and the hygiene in the kitchens need to be checked. It's completely ruined our trips as we're now stuck in bed.

Dropped in for expediency, stayed for the experience, shared a couple of bottles of local wine, had some Iberian ham, local cheese, Dutch tapas, oddly enough, all the time watching the local people celebrating the Patron's feast day dressed in incredible costumes, and having a wonderful time. The queen of the Festival posed for pictures. What a serendipitous rain storm.

We wanted you to see a flamenco show while in the Malaga area. We read the reviews so we knew what…read moreto expect. Yes, it's a "tourist trap," €15 per person for a a flamenco show that you are charged for with no prior warning.....but where else can you see flamenco for that price? They don't have a real stage; just a section of the restaurant, but the dancers were good and the show was just under an hour with 2 separate costumes. It was a little difficult to see the dancers from our table because of decorated columns/trees in the restaurant as well as other diners blocking the view. We also read about the charges for anything extra that they bring to your table like bread at €10. (We saw every other table with a bread basket, and it did look quite good.). I ordered a hamburger which came with fries, and my sister ordered a few tapas items. The burger was actually quite good with a freshly baked bun and flavorful cheese. My sister had croquettes that had a stew-like filling, (not sure what it was,), but she said they were delicious. She also had a tapas made of zucchini, bacon and cheese which she said was also really good. It was a cute little restaurant with open air seating. If you want to see flamenco in Spain, and don't want to spend an arm and a leg; or sit through a 3 hour event.....this is a good option. Just be aware that everything comes with an additional cost!
