I think I have to echo the other reviews and say it's okay, it's small for $10 but I saw some cool things. It's located on the side of the Prudential Center, but it was a little confusing walking around to find the entrance. There are some museum-general things, different versions of the award, some images of different winners, and some interactive things where you can put on headphones and pretend to play instruments or watch videos of different winners. The main part was completely empty when I went. The "special exhibit" is where a few other people were. At my visit it was about Taylor Swift, so it featured a lot of her costumed and signed memorabilia and some clips of her home videos as a kid and a big wall graphic of her magazine covers. It was nifty, but an exhibit would be more interesting due to longevity of career. She's still establishing. There was a room with a video playing and a list of all her albums/songs. One woman was sitting watching that video the entire time I read the exhibit information, so it was really entrancing to some. I was probably here about 30-45 minutes, because it is small. If the temp exhibit is an artist you like and you're already in the area, it can be a neat exhibit. I would have been disappointed paying for parking if this was all I was going to see. read more

It's a very small museum but enjoyable; Interactive with headphones, microphones, drum sets, keyboards, etc. to keep you busy for some time. I went with 2 other adults and two teens. The teens and adults alike loved playing with the equipment. There's a karaoke stage where you can live out your dreams of being a singer. They also have a few of your favorite artists' designer outfits on display. It really fun to have a glimpse into the Grammy/music world. read more

Horrible!!!! Bought tickets more than 1 month ago for the Beatles Exhibit. Drove 2 hours from upstate New York to Newark, New Jersey only to discover that the Prudential Center (same building) was hosting a graduation. The street was blocked off by police and all the parking lots listed on the website for the venue were full and blocked off. We arrived a full hour before the Museum opened but still NONE of the parking facilities had any space at all. We had no choice but to turn around and return home. Bad enough we forfeited our two tickets for the exhibit but we also killed 4+ hours in the car, paid tolls on the highways, and burned up a lot of fuel - all for nothing. We called the museum and basically, they told us too bad, the graduation was a private event, so they had no control. It really would have been nice for them to tell everyone in advance and make some provisions for visitors to park! We will NEVER go there again for ANY reason! read more

This place was really cool, but much smaller than I anticipated. Being a "museum," I expected to spend much more time here, but sadly, there wasn't enough to see. The Grammy Museum is definitely a fun and interactive experience, but I'd suggest heading here if you're in the neighborhood or taking in a show or a game while at the Prudential Center. Needless to say, it's a fun, quick visit. There's a whole section of interactive fun including a guitars, keyboards, drums, and DJ table. Additionally, you can sing a la "karaoke style" to Ray Charles music right in the middle of the museum. Kids will have fun here checking out all the cool things to learn and play. There are headphones all over where you can listen to various artists and watch videos. Tons of memorabilia is on site to check out, including gowns worn by Grammy-winning artists, instruments, set lists, and actually Grammys that artists have won over the years. Fun and interesting facts about the Grammys and musicians flood the walls as well. Our biggest challenge here was parking. We actually paid more to park than we did for our tickets, which was disappointing. Had the museum been larger and there was more time to spent there, I probably would have given it four stars. Needless to say, it's a fun experience to take in while in the area, especially for music buffs. read more

It's a pretty small exhibit for the 10$ price tag. Other than that, there are some cool interactive electronic instruments and sing alongs.

i really liked this place. i love the jersey stars tribute. all their outfits were awesome to see. bruce springsteen's year book was cool! my favorite was the whitney exhibit. still very sad we lost her. but very wonderful tribute to her. her outfits were amazing! the staff is very friendly.i love my jersey tee shirt i bought. the student discount was 9.00 to get in. loved everything. i would return! read more
