It's bigger than it looks. There's a lot of aisles, and has a good amount of baked goods, along with some pretty fresh produce. A lot of natural and organic items. They have a lot of the Applegate Farms products if you want organic meats and sausage. Of course there's plenty of plant based. They have non dairy items like nut milks and yogurts. In the bakery there was vegan zucchini bread. The prices in here are kind of high, but if you become a member you get coupons and specials. Has to be a stop if you're shopping for organics around here. It's located in the Murdale Shopping Center on West Main Street. There's a ton of things for vegans and vegetarians.

All coffee beans are organic. The regular (with caffeine) beans offered are Espresso, Ethiopian, Guatemalan, Columbian, and Peruvian and sell for $15.99/lb. The Decaf beans offered are French Roast and Breakfast Blend for $18.49/lb. If you enjoy baking they have a nice lineup of Bob's Red Mill products including several gluten free, non GMO, flours. King Arthur products are also available, although not as numerous. When I make my homemade chili or spaghetti sauce I use organic Muir Glen whole peeled tomatoes, sauce, and paste. I was happy to see all were available here. The only other product I'll comment on is their ice cream - Alden's. The best ice cream (IMHO) is Alden's Vanilla Bean. It's organic, has all natural ingredients (no high fructose corn syrup), and tastes delicious! It's made in Oregon and I've found that a lot of major chain stores do not carry it. If you get a chance to try it, it's a must! They have a "Hot Bar" where hot food can be purchased separately or as a whole meal. Daily specials are listed on the board behind the counter. While shopping one of the employees asked me if I was finding everything ok. I thanked him and thought it was nice of him to ask. Other employees were busy putting new products and produce on the shelves but took time to say hi and they seemed to be enjoying their work. The setting is in an older building that's part of the old Murdoch Shopping plaza. It's a comfortable feeling while shopping - no hustling and bustling here. Coops are a really great idea and this one comes through with shining colors! It's hard to eat healthy these days but shopping here makes it a lot easier. Until recently we had a very bad experience with management!…read more A food item molded BEFORE the expiration and even though the item was brought in to store before expiration end date, they refused to exchange the item!! Received quite the run around because the day item was brought into store, the woman that has worked there for years( no management in the store) she wouldn't exchange and replied 'You could have bought that 30 days ago!' Offered our Kroger card to her so she could see proof of purchase but she said she would need our app for proof of purchase. (Remember still not expired but moldy in package).Knowing that customer service wasn't handled properly, later that day tried calling management ,still no management , but young man on phone said 'everyone does things different but should be able to exchange'. So next day after work, hoping to finally get the proper help from management, brought item in again hoping to exchange for item we paid for, and right off the manager was obviously influenced by the other women , because absolutely nothing we offered ( now we had the receipt from phone app the first person claimed we needed) mattered! He refused to exchange with proof of purchase !! So in a nutshell- we are highly disappointed our old faithful store after spending $$$$ in there for years, has come down to this and treats their long time customers this way!! It's constantly and notably clean. It looks awesome and nostalgic due to keeping much of the 90's aesthetic. And, you can find so many deals here that it's the best place to go in Anna. The user seems to be very upset about being sold yogurt and other things past the expiration dates. This Anna Kroger donates truckloads of food to local food pantries, and most of that food is right around the expiration date. All of the food that is close to the expiration date in Kroger is marked down for an unbeatable low price, and it's not always bad. This guy was just disgruntled. This Kroger is awesome and the people there are just humans like anyone else, who can make mistakes. All the people I've interacted with have been as nice as can be. Spread kindness, not hate.
