I want to give a huge shout-out to Dr. Ian Sellers and the staff at Sundance Dental in Farmington…read more I had previously gone to another Sundance Dental location because it was much closer to my home. They originally repaired one of my teeth, but when that repair broke about a year later, I was told it couldn't be repaired again under my insurance and that the work I needed would cost around $2,800 out of pocket. My wife has been going to Dr. Ian Sellers and has always spoken very highly of him, so she encouraged me to get a second opinion. I was skeptical because it was the same dental corporation, but I'm extremely glad I listened to her. Dr. Sellers looked at the tooth, explained my options without pressuring me, and was able to take care of it right away under my insurance. That was an enormous relief, especially as a senior citizen living on a fixed income. What impressed me just as much was his approach. He listened to what I wanted instead of trying to sell me additional procedures. I had previously been encouraged to have my wisdom teeth removed, something I was hesitant to do at my age. Dr. Sellers evaluated me and reassured me that I was fine without having them removed. There was simply a different feeling in his office, calm, respectful, honest, and caring. I would describe Dr. Sellers as someone with a very positive, high-frequency presence. I never felt rushed or pressured. I felt like I was being treated as a person rather than a dollar sign. For me, making the extra drive to Farmington is absolutely worth it. Dr. Sellers and his staff saved me a considerable amount of money, but more importantly, they earned my trust. Thank you, Dr. Ian Sellers and everyone at Sundance Dental in Farmington. You genuinely helped me, and I appreciate it more than you know. I highly recommend them.

I asked him if there was anything else we could do... maybe even try a new crown since that one was not working. He said the crown would keep coming off since I clench my teeth and that it was a good fit. I do wear a night guard he made. I went through so much trauma from this one tooth with never knowing when it would come off again. And horrible TMJ!! He told me I was making a "Big deal out of something that was pretty minor". Unbelievable! I just wanted to know what my options were and to stop being scared of the darn thing coming off. I went to a different dentist and she said it was a horrible fit. It wasn't even all the way sealed and had a couple cavities under it. She was very disappointed in him. She is also worried about the crown next to it too because of bad fit.
