This is the nicest environment with the most personable and professional orthodontist and staff I've ever experienced. I have been to five different orthodontists (twice for myself and the rest for my children) each for entire services of braces and often palatal expanders. The time and kindly patience that this staff took with my son, who had questions about EVERYTHING, was something I've never seen before. They put my son at ease, and I actually enjoyed being there! Dr Graf and his staff are phenomenal! I recently finished braces from another ortho and my teeth immediately shifted after (despite constantly wearing retainers). Dr Graf is correcting the shifting and is going above and beyond. Highly recommend. Staff seems knowledgeable enough, and Dr Reid has been great to work with since the change over from Dr Graf. I have two complaints though-- I'm very allergic to latex and I remind them every time I am there for an appointment and they still will slip up and use latex gloves in my mouth. Huge strike one. The other thing is that I can never get them to answer their phone when I (rarely) need to reschedule. I'll call five times over the course of two-three days, trying at different times during their open hours and it will ring until it finally goes to their voicemail.. five voicemails later I finally get a call back. Also-- k this is like half of a complaint, so I guess I have 2.5 complaints.. they don't tell you this until way late in the game, but they only do removal appointments in the morning. This might not change anything for a lot of people, but as a teacher during a major sub shortage, this is making things very difficult for me to find a time to get my braces off and I would've liked a heads up. read more

The best place for Orthodontics in the state of Utah

I used to be a patient of Dr. Graf's and needed a new retainer so came back. I had the appointment for the retainer scan and the girl had no idea what she was doing. Two weeks later I hadn't heard anything so I called and my retainer hasn't been made. Also, was quoted a different price than what I was actually billed. The office staff is not all on the same page and while they are nice, it makes it very difficult to work with when it becomes a "he said she said" game. read more

We absolutely love Graf Orthodontics!! They have been incredible from the get go. They always know what to do and how best to proceed. EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. I came in with massive jaw and bite issues, horrible migraines, and really crooked difficult bottom teeth. My dentist suggested 2 different orthodontists and I met with both of them. The one wouldn't even take me as a patient. Said he couldn't help me and sent me somewhere to have some intense tmj procedures done. Graf on the other hand, checked me out thoroughly and immediately came up with a plan to improve my quality of life as well as appearance of my teeth. 2 years later my daughter has already had her braces on and off here with exceptional results (I find myself staring at that beautiful smile often!). I will be getting mine off in a little over a month.. my teeth look amazing already! Migraines are now a rare occurrence for me and my jaw almost never cracks!!! I feel very blessed to have found them and for all they have done for my family and I. We have met incredible people along the way that have served us here, who we consider friends. Dr. Graf is the best orthodontist in Utah! As a young, angsty teen I needed to get braces TWICE, due to genetic mouth deformaties, and Dr. Graf somehow made having braces in high school a great experience! I honestly looked forward to my appointments because everyone at his office was so kind and welcoming, and they make the expeirence so fun! They really worked with you to get the exact smile you want and the dental assistants were so fun to talk with. You get awards for keeping your braces clean and it is all around a happy, fun atmosphere! Plus, they give you the yummiest, fresh out of the oven cookies when you leave! Count on being called back to your appointment at least 30 minutes past your scheduled time. They seem to be either over-scheduled or short-staffed in every visit. My son has had five appointments and not one has been started within a half hour of the scheduled time. Currently sitting in the waiting room at 3:26 for a 2:30 appointment. read more

Great service here they have a lot of fun things going on all the time, the office looks great. The only criticism I have is that it takes a really long time to get through appointments you wait for about 30 mins and then it takes even longer to be completely done. I think it every morning as I get ready in the bathroom for my day of how grateful I am for my straight front teeth!!!! You made my life so much happier by fixing those two front teeth with braces a year ago and it has given me my confidence back. I feel like I can smile my natural big smile that I have (and for several years was trying to hide by closing my lips while talking to people... lol, I seriously thought it might result in me becoming a ventriloquist haha!) But I was feeling so so so nervous for the longest time because my two front teeth were not aligned after my tooth implant was placed a bit forward by a different office). Of course I'm the one that would notice the most... I'm sure several people didn't notice as much as I did. But, by you fixing my teeth it has literally lifted my self-conscious-burden that I had for all those years! Please Consider my 2-star-rating generous. What credit is given is to the extremely pleasant and knowledgeable staff. A couple of things to consider: If a business needs you to sign an arbitration agreement, you should turn the other way and find another service provider. If the dentist/orthodontist/oral surgeon is only looking to file your teeth down to make his job easier, then you need to find another service provider. Dentists and orthodontists should do everything they can to SAVE YOUR TEETH, not destroy them, Dr. Graf. And yes, if you are writing a review for your dad, it's pretty clear that you are biased, so your opinion is of no merit in business. read more

I have never been treated worse than I have by the office staff at Graf orthodontics. I am the mother of seven children, grandmother of four, so I have been around the block a few times. I have never missed a payment, or been late on a payment, and my children have never missed an appointment. In fact, my first account was paid off early. Regardless of that track record, the women at Graf orthodontics have been hard to work with, incompetent, untruthful, and inconsiderate of my time and my family's time. I have been patronized, and treated EXTREMELY rudely simply over their basic incompetence and unwillingness to look up some insurance information. I will seek another orthodontist to finish my childrens' orthodontic work. Word of warning - don't start long-term treatment at Graf orthodontics if your employer sometimes changes insurance carriers. read more
