They even had a live singer who was excellent! This all crumbled when the food began to arrive. It was next to tasteless. The appetizers ($235.00 CZK $14.50 CDN) was bland & virtually without taste at all. Our server Julia was quick enough to recognize that we weren't enjoying the food & graciously swapped out our appetizer but the replacement was just as bad. In her defence, she did make a partial deduction from the bill. My main was the Chicken/mushroom/potato dish ($415.00 CZK or $27.00 Cdn) It was ok but only had a total of 4 pieces of WAY over cooked chicken and about 2/3 was potatoes. I can say with confidence that after eating at HUNDREDS of restaurants, this was at the bottom for flavour. It's a not-do from my side.

Located on the edge of the area and just on the other side of the large park, it is a nice spot to stumble upon for a bite to eat or have a full meal. Seating inside with open windows provides great views of the hillside as well as the busy sidewalk. The staff was very attentive and accommodating for us and for the large number of guests that were showing up for Easter Day dinner. They carved out time for our table to sample their wines and beers before ordering and were very on top of ensuring everything about our experience was going well. The owner of this place is so friendly and courteous. The restaurant offers a convenient English menu, and I highly recommend the rump steak. The place is small, so I am not sure how crazy crowded it can get. However, around 5-6 PM or so, it is rather empty and easy to find a seat. The steaks come with salad and vegetables. On the side, you can also order fries, potato cakes, etc. Again, the customer service is superb with a very friendly owner. The price is amazing too. For two rump steaks and sparkling waters, the price only comes out around $15 USD. You will not find this price anywhere in the US, not to mention that the steak quality is amazing. Enjoy!
