The vast, expansive windows give a sweeping view of the golf course which is nice. The gold chairs around every table were elegant except the chair pads on them were dirty. The tables were set up very well. They had round gold paper as table mats which I'm not sure was necessary. The appetizer service was good. They came around about 2 or 3 times to offer meatballs, jalapeño poppers, deviled eggs and bruschetta topped with tomatoes and olives. The appetizers were standard for weddings. They weren't spectacular but they were appreciated. My least favorite was the deviled eggs which I normally love but they didn't prepare it well. The salad was just that salad mix you but at Costco. The waitress literally threw the plate at my husband and I. I think she was on a rush but seriously! The bread rolls were warm and I like the everything seasoning on it. The main dish was good! It was a thick, juicy chicken with melted cheese on top. The grilled veggies were also very good. The potatoes on the side were not bad. The service was alright except for that one incident. My room was nice, with a lot of windows (four of them), blinds, a fridge, and a microwave. The toilet was very low. I heard the brunch here is really great, so I'll have to try it next time. The only issue is that I cancelled my second and third nights ahead of time, but the hotel charged me anyway. I'm following up with them about that. The hotel was quiet after 10pm. Overall it was a good stay and I would go back.

Though the hotel has a 3pm…read morecheck-in, we arrived in the area in the morning--so we called around 10am to the front desk inquiring about early check-in availability. At that time, we were told that a room wasn't ready now, but that our room would be ready between 1-2pm. We ended up arriving later, at 3:15pm. Upon check-in, the gal at the front desk shared that our room wasn't yet ready--and that they would follow-up with housekeeping (and call me when the room was ready). I received this news while another customer complained to the second staff member that the keys he was given to his room don't work (she was not empathetic at all). At 4pm, I hadn't yet received a call, so I contacted the front desk by phone. After placing me on a 3-5 minute hold, the gal shared that our room was ready. I asked why no one called me as promised, and she said they "were busy." When I got our room keys, I asked if there was a manager to speak to about our room not being available at the hotel's promised check-in time (3p), and she shared that there was no supervisor or manager onsite (Saturday, by the way), and that she could offer me "a coupon for next time." Um...there will not be a next time. A couple hours later, I intended to call down to guest services from the phone in our room to request additional pillows for the night. However, both phones in our room were non-functional (one had a permanent busy tone and the other had no wires/cords whatsoever--it was hilarious). As a result, I went down to the front desk to ask in person. The response to my request was that they "will try, but it'll be a while." I shared that there was no rush, but having them in the next 3 hours (by 8p) was preferred. I attended our family party and went back to our room around 9pm; no extra pillows delivered. Because the room phones don't work, I texted my husband to swing by the front desk on his way up. Front desk staff (around 10p) told him that additional pillows would "take about an hour," so my husband told them not to bother. Upon check out the next morning, I asked the front desk if there was filtered water available somewhere to fill water bottles before getting on the road for our 3-hour trek. She pointed to a water machine in the lobby, but it didn't work when I tried to dispense water. I asked if I was doing something wrong, to which she replied, "if no water comes out, then we don't have any more." We left and stopped at a 7-eleven to buy a couple of bottles of water before getting on the freeway. We will never stay here again, and you shouldn't either.

If I'm correct, and there weren't any issues, it is because Jessie is THAT good at her job! I cannot say enough amazing things about her. Truly, this tiny little space is nowhere near enough room for all the incredible ways that Jessie made my wedding perfect!! She far exceeded our expectations. We hired Jessie as our day of coordinator, but her help begun well before our wedding day. Anytime I needed advice, had a question or needed recommendations she was readily available to walk me through it! We had initially hired another planner and had an awful experience. We ended up firing her and hiring Jessie and I am SO glad that we did. Jessie did way more work as a day of planner than our "full service" planner did. Any issues that came up before the wedding, Jessie was able to solve for us. The day before our wedding one of our vendors called her saying that they forgot to bring our sweetheart table. When Jessie broke the news to me, she was calm and offered a couple of different solutions. The company we ended up getting our table from had mentioned that the table was not available for rent, but they made an exception because of Jessie. That is how well known and respected she is in this industry. Every little detail was perfect. She did an incredible job setting up our decor and coordinating all of our vendors. The rehearsal dinner was smooth, quick and to the point. She somehow managed to keep our entire bridal party + families in line (we had a bridal party of 25). She even made sure that my husband and I were able to eat at the ceremony by literally standing guard and blocking people from bothering us! It has been almost 3 months since our wedding and to this day, my family and friends still rave about Jessie. They all say how incredible she was. She was on top of it, organized & fun.
