Grace's Flowers did a Sympathy Floral Arrangement for my Mother's Memorial Service in Alexander City, AL. Since I live out of state, I had to totally rely on their guidance and judgement via the telephone. I was actually given the owner's (Susie Kelly) personal cell number so that she could further assist me with my order. They designed a personalized floral arrange for me from a picture that I submitted. The floral arrangement was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. These people are idiots. Met with suzie several months before my wedding to make sure that I had them booked and that she knew what I wanted. They day of the wedding comes and the flowers that she said would look great looked like they weren't even ready to be picked yet. Green on the tips of the roses, the baby's breath looked dead. Anyway. We went on our honeymoon which was a week long. We come back and check our mail Sat. Oct 5 and we have an invoice. So I try to pay our bill that Tuesday the 8( my only day off work for the week) and the clerk at the shop cannot find how much I actually owe and tells me I can pay what I think I owe and just come back. So I told her I'd just wait so suzie can fix it for the next time I come in. Well suzie called my mother a few days later on Friday "just checking to see if I got the invoice". My mother told her that I had and that I had tried to pay but the clerk didn't even know what was going on. I live out of town and am only in Alexander city when working. So she calls me again oct 14 and says she needs her money this week. I told her that I had just tried to pay last Tuesday and live out of town and won't be back in until next Tuesday oct 22. Anyway I've just had it with these people. Nobody has any record of anything. Suzie didn't remember half of the things I told her I even requested until I reminded her to which she would reply "oh yeah. I see that in my notes". I've seen weddings they've done and been so impressed so I thought they'd do a great job for mine, but I was wrong. And the thing with the payment is ridiculous. It would be different if I was trying to avoid paying, but I already tried and won't be in town for a week. Would never book/buy from them again. read more
