Except there happened to be an idiot answering thier phones today.I called to see if an appointment was necessary. Unfortunately some guy answers the phone plainly "Hello". I asked if this was the gym, he rudely says "yeah what do you want". Really?! I decided to hang up. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and show up, maybe they had an idiot answering their phone that day. Nope!!! I'm guessing he's the owner and trainer!! I show up with another adult and two teens who were ready to sign up for boxing classes. We step inside and the gym is empty, zero patrons and the guy says "Yeah what do you want". I told him that we were there to see the gym and talk about pricing and signing up. He just points to the empty gym and says "that's the gym", what else do you want. WTF?! Is this really happening. Still, I remained calm and asked to walk around, he says "yeah but don't touch anything!" very rudely. At that point I walk around and see that he has all the right basic equipment. However because of his shitty attitude, we decided to walk right out. No way am I paying $260 a month for two teens and $600 for 10 sessions with an asshole! If we were training and everything..... SURE talk shit to me and get me pissed off....but no way am I giving a complete douche bag my money. This is not how you do business, get business or deal with potential clients who pay you money!! I'd rather take shitty boxing classes at the gym than to give this turd any money!

I've been a member for about 3 months and it's been such an incredible experience so far. Sivan was super helpful and helped me sign up. Her and along with everyone else I've encountered with have been nothing but wonderful. I did my assessment and complimentary personal training session with Jenn. She has such an extensive knowledge about wellness especially when it comes to women's health. She gave me some pointers about rebuilding my pelvic floor strength and put together a plan for me. I've also attended a few mat pilates and spin classes, which were great. Last month, I had a facial in their spa which was relaxing and exactly what I needed after not having a facial for almost a year. On a few occasions, I've brought my son with me and had him stay in the Kids Club. Emme and the others are so sweet and welcoming. Overall my experience at Equinox Woodland Hills has been really wonderful - from the welcoming staff, clean facility, variety of classes, to the positive vibes. Now as a working mom, I don't have as much time to go as often but I'm hoping to keep up with my work out routine.

I think a lot people would probably look Revision's monthly fees and believe it competes with a big…read morebox facility like Equinox in the luxury gym market. However, this assumption could not be more erroneous. Equinox is a $250 a month "luxury" gym with over 20 year old equipment, and amenities that you have to pay extra for. In my past experience, they struggled to have towels ready half the time I requested one, and the cleanliness has gone downhill over the last few years. In contrast, Revision is in a class of its own as a cutting-edge and innovative wellness center, that just so happens to have a state of the art gym. In addition, the facility is immaculate (you can practically eat off the floors), with a great layout that ensures that everything is easy to find and stays organized. The best thing about Revision is that all of its amenities (cold plunge/infrared sauna, Ceragem massage bed, cryotherapy, compression therapy, red light therapy, meditation pods, etc.), can be utilized on an unlimited basis monthly. If you go to a typical spa or wellness center and purchase 1 or 2 amenities, the costs can easily total more than Revision's fees for a single month. In other words, the membership pays for itself very quickly regardless of whether or not you choose to utilize the gym component of the center. If you do decide to use the gym, the environment is supportive and non-intimidating, and there is a variety of diverse equipment to use (pendulum squat, smith machine, free weights, and cardio equipment that blows away anything you would find at a big box store like 24 hr. Fitness, Gold's Gym, or even Equinox). In terms of atmosphere, I've been searching a long time for a gym that feels like an actual community, as opposed to a meat market embedded within a warehouse of equipment, as most gyms within the area turn out to be. Within my first week or two there, Carolyn, one of the owners, came up to me and asked "Do you have any problems, complaints, or issues. We like to address them immediately." For me, those were magic words that I rarely hear from any business owner, regardless of the industry. It's a great feeling when your input is not only valued, but actually solicited. In addition, both owners (Dusty and Carolyn) are completely on top of catering to members individual needs. For example, I asked for a trap bar and a free-motion/dual cable machine, and they made it happen without me having to engage in any follow-up, which has been non-existent in my experience at other gyms. In the past, whenever I had an issue at a different gym such as Gold's or 24 hr., I would get the passive aggressive "we'll look into it," in response to a request of mine, but of course they never did. Instead, I would literally have to nag the front desk staff or management ad nauseam about the issue, and still not have success. I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say that most gyms only care about the bottom line (total patrons), and don't want to hear your complaints or input because you're just another number. People want to feel like they matter and have a voice that is heard. At Revision, you have a voice and you matter.

The first time I entered Crunch, Stephen/Steven at the front desk smiled and greeted me; he made me feel welcome. Bishoy, a former manager was also awesome! He asked whether I cared about the age or gender of the personal trainer. I didn't. Given my existing condition, he strongly recommended Ryan Ainsworth. Ryan is exemplary! He has the eye of a physical therapist and is arguably as good as one - if not better! He is kind and nurturing. Whenever I'd whine about the difficulty of an exercise, he'd always encourage me while ensuring that I'd perform that exercise with fidelity. Ryan possesses the sublime ability to immediately adjust specific exercises to meet my personal needs. Ryan's nuanced adjustments are sublime! Current and former managers Bishoy, Johnny (at the Norwalk location), Armando, CJ, and Charlie always exhibited genuine kindness combined with outstanding customer service during times I had to postpone training for extended period of time due to illness, cataract surgeries, and fractured toes as a result of being clumsy at home. Ryan Ainsworth has given me the grace to accept myself, be resilient, and prevail with this "new normal" for which I am eternally grateful!!!

Unfortunately, management is a completely different story. They are opportunistic and very inconsiderate. Despite me sending emails and calling ahead of time to confirm that I would not be charged after the three-month agreement, they still charged my card anyway. I don't like to argue, so I took matters into my own hands and showed my bank the emails and explained that I had called to get reassurance beforehand; yet I was still charged. That alone says a lot about their lack of integrity and morality. What made this even more frustrating is that after the bank reimbursed me, management suddenly called me again to "cancel" the training and I forwarded the same email I had already sent months ago stating I wanted to cancel after three months. This felt extremely tedious and reactive, especially since I had already been clear and proactive from the beginning. Please read the Yelp reviews before signing up. Ben is amazing and truly cares about his clients, but management(especially Armando) makes the overall experience unnecessarily frustrating and disappointing.

Bathrooms are clean and always well stocked with hair ties and all the women necessities. The community is great. Parking can be a little though depending on the time of day because they're located right outside of the mall, but you always find a spot. Over all love this gym. Diana truly is a gem and makes the Pilates community come together. Thank you for your great service, Diana!

Been a member for over a year, so many mixed feelings about this gym…read more The best part is; Women's only! Amazing, have had amazing interactions and new friendships with the women here. The energy is great until recently, newer members can be rude and don't have common courtesy or gym etiquette. Keep in mind price is high, I pay almost $300 for the membership that does include spin and Pilates. But the class schedule now isn't the best. A lot of the OG good Pilates instructors have quit. Shani is definitely the best one still here. Jill's spin class is 10/10. But I don't see why the high price tag. A lot of machines are constantly broken. The bathrooms are constantly out of soap and toilet paper, and are dirty half the time. Classes get cancelled constantly. A few of the instructors are rude and hog gym equipment. Ash at front desk is the best and always so sweet, Skye and Dani have amazing strength classes but I can't make it half the time due to the inconsistency with child care, even tho Lupe is amazing with kids. But the rest of the staff can be rude and not accommodating. Always new front desk girls What brought me here originally was the kids club. As a new mom, this was the best opportunity. There is just no consistency and there's a lot of rules and regulations that aren't really discussed when you sign up. They advertise everywhere that they offer kids club but at least once a week, kids club is closed or opened late and a different time daily so I end up missing or being late to my scheduled classes. Originally I was taking 2 classes some days, being at the gym for over 2 hours, using the gym as therapy with new girlfriends. Then I was told I'm only allowed to use kids club for an hour and 15 minutes whether someone is in there to watch your kid or not. Which is not a lot of time. After an hour class, I barely have time to use the restroom and fill up my water before I'm texted to come pick up my daughter. Leaves me no time to use the amenities I'm paying for. There's no food or drinks allowed for the kids but it seems these rules are only targeted to certain members. A lot of moms have canceled their membership due to this and have gone to equinox which makes sense given we pay equinox prices. The communication in the gym is very poor. Classes with my favorite instructors are canceled with no explanation. Gym floor classes have been moved to an even darker corner with no ventilation or room for the class size it's intended for. A lot of the girls are from class pass and apparently can't use any basic amenities which again how is anyone supposed to know. There's no signs up or communication. It just seems to be one thing after another but I really hope they continue to try to make changes so they don't lose anymore members. I love it here and my daughter loves coming with me, it's just becoming more of burden as of late.
