This facility focuses on the well-being and academic nature of your children and gives the kids a Headstart on curriculum that will prepare them for grade school. His teacher is Miss Karen and she is so kind,loving, patient, and creative. Not only does she teach the students, but she takes the time to learn your child individually, and that's a big factor for me because it lets me know that she see my child. My son is already bright however he was very reserved. He's been attending this school for a little over six or seven months now and he's doing phenomenal between the work of Miss Karen and I, he will be more than prepared for kindergarten!

This definitely grabbed my attention and I came to appreciate this even more as I saw how well my son was doing. She went to tell us her boys were now excelling in school and had all skipped grades due to being very advanced for their age. My oldest has followed these same footsteps and is excelling in school. And he also skipped a grade. Our 2 other kids are currently enrolled and are doing extremely well. Mrs Nilu has a very structured system, builds an extremely valuable educational foundation in the kids, cares deeply about them and providesa safe and very clean environment. Every so often on Saturday or Sunday my daughter will get upset that she can't go to Mrs Nilu's!

The teachers came across as rude, impatient, and completely lacking the warmth and patience that toddlers need. It felt like they wanted quiet, easy children who wouldn't "bother" them rather than understanding that toddlers are toddlers. The classrooms were also incredibly boring and lacked the kind of engaging, stimulating environment I would expect for young children. But the way they handled my 2-year-old was the final straw. I was told that my child "hit" the teacher. After watching the camera footage myself, that description was extremely misleading. My son tried to climb onto the toy kitchen. The teacher tried to pull him down, he became frustrated, swung his hands in her direction, and then immediately ended up on the floor crying. What did the teacher do? Comfort him? Help him regulate? Redirect him calmly? No. She contacted administration to report the incident. We are talking about a TWO-YEAR-OLD who became frustrated and was crying. If a teacher is so intimidated by normal toddler behavior that her first response is to report the child rather than comfort and redirect him, I seriously question whether she should be working with toddlers. Children this age need adults who understand development and know how to handle big emotions--not adults who seem annoyed by them. The whole experience made me feel that my child was being treated like a miniature adult who was expected to behave perfectly and never be difficult. That is not what I expect from a daycare. I would not trust this daycare with my child again, and based on my experience, I would strongly encourage other parents to look elsewhere.
