This park is bigger than it looks. There's a jungle gym, a swing set, a pavilion and some picnic tables by the entrance. There are a few phones in case there is an emergency and plenty of garbage cans. If you walk past the dam, a trail starts. I saw a couple otters in the water, but I'm sure this dam is man-made. There's a bridge that you can use to connect to the park on the other side of the river. There's another jungle gym, some basketball courts and a large paved area where they do a farmers market on Saturdays and more parking. The trail goes to some older structures in the historical area and it looks like there is some construction going on. The water is filled with trout and there are a lot of different places for you to fish.

Grace Lord Park has something for all ages. When you first enter the park, there's a sign for all visitors to wear a mask. Also, you'll see a pretty maple tree next to a large gazebo. The park is very picturesque with the lovely Boone Falls and an interesting walking trail. A friend and I were walking along the trail, we observed a very old stone structure. I first thought maybe it was from the Prohibition era. A Yelp friend reached out and thought it was possibly older, maybe from the Civil War era. If anyone knows please reach out. The park has Trout fishing for our fishing enthusiasts. The park also provides a very cool architectural play area for the kids. Definitely recommend a visit to this park. Parking is definitely available on the street. PS: Please wear bug spray.

I have spent a LOT of time at Jannerone Park over the years and I thought it was time to give it a…read morereview... Jannarone was built a few years after we moved into town and is close enought for us to walk to for games and practices. When it first went in, we weren't happy about the lights and the whistles late at night, but we've grown accustomed to it over the years and it's just become background noise now. Our kids have played numerous soccer games here, our son is just finishing up his first season of lacrosse, and we sled here every winter so we know the park quite well and have gotten a lot of use out of it. The park itself includes a huge multipurpose turf field that is used for football, soccer, lacrosse, and field hockey. The turf is surrounded by a paved walking track (not a 'real' track) which is nice to have during practices that are conflicting with your gym time...five times around equals a mile here. The turf field also includes a nice scoreboard and an elevated announcers/videographers box. Across a parking lot there is also a decent baseball field set up for regulation play (60' 6" mound and 90 ft bases). Field is pretty nice, but doesn't drain well so it gets closed a lot after it rains-it doesn't get the use I thought it would, but it's nice to be able to use it with the kids for practice. Other facilities here include restrooms (heated in the winter) and during football games at least they also have a concession stand. For all the NIMBYs in my town who didn't want the high school fields turfed because they didn't want their lives disrupted I call BS. Having a lighted, turf field this close is great and has been a huge benefit to the kids in this town. Our HS teams deserve the same benefit.

Veterans Memorial Park is a 17-acre park located on Route 46 East at Vail Road in Parsippany, NJ…read more(Morris County). The park's name says it all- it's a beautiful, clean and well-maintained memorial to our country's vets and the least we can do is honor them as such. The physical monument area at the front is lovely. If you're looking for a way to pay tribute, pray/meditate, or simply would like to take time to visit an area dedicated to all branches of our unstoppable military, then you will enjoy your time here. The memorial is situated to the immediate right once you enter the park. Past the Marine's crossing mini bridge over the brook, you'll see an artificial turf field to your right (very nice) and the natural field space to your left. There's a small outdoor fitness station here, a perimeter walk/run path, a gazebo/bandstand which is mainly utilized for events, and a small, more narrow paved footpath network within the perimeter to the left. This more narrow set of paths is good if the natural perimeter trail is muddy. There's also a playground here. Per the town website, this park offers: 1 Mile of walking paths Large bandstand Lawn area for summer concerts Multi-purpose, artificial turf, illuminated field Picnic shelter with electricity and a charcoal grill that can be reserved Stunning memorial honoring all veterans of our Armed Forces Head on over! It's a great park and wonderful tribute. Thanks to all vets and those who serve. God bless you.

They also have a nice 1-mile walking path right in the park...so when you just can't watch the 500th soccer game/practice for your kid, you can actually get some exercise. There is a beautiful memorial in the park honoring all veterans and the town does a very nice job with the ceremonies during the two holidays. The park is located across the street from a veterans cemetery and is pretty easy to get into on a normal day. For large events, parking and exiting is simply a nightmare unless the police are directing traffic, but that's really the only negative thing I can say about this park.
