I purchased a 10-treatment package from a very nice young lady, Skylar with whom I had a full consultation. We spoke about the use of my FSA benefits and that it could be used and paid. Halfway through my package I received a letter from my FSA stating they needed proof of the services rendered to prove it was coverable. As I spoke with both Skylar and Dr Owens/Owner and CEO whom I met on my 3rd visit maybe. She advised that most companies do not always consider holistic services as covered and that she would provide what was needed for the services to be covered. I emailed the info@myBBWC.com email, yes there was a delay in time between the conversation & email but I did explain again what was needed and attached the necessary paperwork. After not hearing back from my first email (7/11/25), I then forwarded the original email again on 8/12/25 after calling the Center to verify the email address I had on the card given along with the items they provide like the bag, water bottle etc. during your first visit and purchase & asking the rep to relay my message to Dr Owens regarding me sending an initial email and requesting a call back. That never happened. The Dr responded she had not received my initial email & advised she could take care of necessary paperwork once I call the office the next morning and pay an admin fee of $95. My email response "This was not explained to me when we spoke in person, and I emailed this over a month ago with no acknowledgment. I called the office a few weeks ago & the young lady whom I spoke with obviously never relayed this message to you so I had to call and resend the original email. I will keep my appointment next week to redeem my complimentary sauna appointment after my back procedure and just not return and pay my fsa provider back & find a new spa to patronize moving forward." Her response back to me "Your response is appalling and the threats are unnecessary, as you were treated with the utmost respect and given excellent service at our office! As previously stated, your email was received for the first time yesterday and you even mentioned a delay in sending it from the time we spoke! " I went in for my complimentary treatment that I earned and the Dr. was nowhere to be found. Didn't come in to clear up any miscommunications. What I was advised during that visit was there was an issue with their email delivery and my initial email was in the SPAM or Junk folder and they now had a new procedure for emails!! Well, Well, WELL, so there was an issue and my email was lost or not delivered correctly and the Dr. couldn't come in and apologize, email or send a smoke signal to explain what happened. It had to explained to me by someone who was below the pay grade to assist with the situation. I LOVED THE SAUNA SERVICES!! I LOVED THE STAFF I MET!! The unprofessionalism of the physician was UNACCEPTABLE. I did have my PCP provide me with the proper Letter of Medical Necessity without having to pay additional fees.
