Do not go here. Dr. Folan has been scamming my boyfriend for almost a year. And left him in the…read moresame dentures for almost 5 months, every time we went for an appointment Dr. Folan wouldn't listen to him and kept taking wax molds. I think they might be over charging the insurance company? But there's no way a mouth should be in post surgery dentures past one month. Every three weeks he went in to see if the new teeth fit him, and they were never what he agreed upon previous appointment, and wax molds do not need to be taken, they only need to send out for the new teeth. We are so upset and have cried over this many times. Making an hour trip to go see the dentist with a lot of hope, and leaving when Dr. Falon said he sent out for the wrong thing again, is exhausting. My boyfriend is in a lot of pain and he stopped into another dental office and they said that they couldn't believe that Dr. Folan allowed that in his mouth, and that he should have his teeth already. As we started to take action on our own we found out that the office had caught on fire and that they were unavailable for phone calls. We will be writing the licensing bureau and asking for everything they have charged the insurance company, by law you are allowed all documents.

Dr Guy worked on my mouth from March until June and I have never in my life experienced such horrible care in my entire life. In 5 months he pulled three teeth in the back of my mouth he put two implants and and took them out. When I first went into his office he asked me to change my insurance to tops and he could do everything. That was not true. After 5 months of care I finally left because the whole time he worked on my mouth it was infected. He stuck a novocaine needle directly into my abscess causing me to scream very loudly. When he stuck the needle into my abscess the infection popped out of my mouth into the air like busting a pimple. The more I screamed the harder he pushed the needle into my gum. There are so many other things that I could tell you but I think that is enough for now. I was so afraid to go to a dentist after him that it is January 2024 and I have had at least four infections after leaving his office. He he made my dentures and would not give them to me instead he sent me the mold that they take of your mouth before they make the dentures. He sent me that mold instead of my dentures as if I'm an idiot. He charged my insurance up because I got the paperwork of all of my visits and he charged my insurance for so many procedures that he never even did. I am currently contacting legal services because of his neglect. Usually when you go into a dentist office they will talk to you at least say hello and tell you what they're going to do. He never said hello to me he never spoke to me unless it had something to do with my insurance. He caused me great pain and the law is going to take care of this.

Dr. Maria Moser attempted to do a tooth implant on me. I say 'attempted' because it was botched-…read morethe abutment part was too big. She even said this right out loud, in surprise, as the procedure was getting underway. She went ahead however and tried to put the thing in anyway. As she tightened it into place I almost screamed and fainted; this was far and away the most painful experience I've ever had, in a dentist's office or outside of one. The pain didn't let up and five days later I had her take the abutment and crown back out. She put me on a course of antibiotics to try to stop any infection from the obvious swelling that had begun (see the picture). I rejected her offer to try the whole procedure again, this time with a "tissue punch", and had the botched part redone by a dentist who'd been voted the 'Best in Boston'. Dr. Moser never apologized or expressed remorse and of course never refunded the thousands she charged me and my insurance. I'm currently pursuing legal action against her and filing complaints with the local and state licensing boards.

Both Dr. Harrington and his wife Dr. Fallon (as well as the rest of the office staff) are some of the nicest people I have genuinely ever met. They are a couple of the only Dr.'s that I have ever come across that you can tell right away genuinely care about their patients and their dental care. They take the time to explain everything up front, whether it is necessary or not, and exactly what will be covered by insurance. This is one of the few places I have gone to where I've never felt that they were trying to "up sell" me on anything that I didn't need done. I have referred several friends here and will continue to do so and go here as long as I live in the area!

I've been going here for years, and I've referred multiple friends. I would give them my firstborn, but they're probably happiest when I pay my bill on time. The care is top-notch and everybody who works here is gracious, friendly and kind. Chris is a wonderful hygienist, John Tieu is a wonderful dentist, and Joseph O'Reilly is a master at distracting patients with an odd cheek-jiggling motion and/or spicy conversation while he's doing something vile with syringes to your gums. Pondside is why, in my online dating profile, I list my amazing set of chompers as one of my key physical attributes. 9/16/16 Update: In February, Dr. O'Reilly wrote me the sweetest letter, informing me that he was retiring. It made me sad. I didn't know how to respond. What do you give to your retiring dentist, who made you just a pinch less anxious about going to the dentist, a pinch of happiness and jokes when you did, and a pinch less distrustful of any type of doctor at all, and over the course of decades, as you aged, was one of the doctors who made you trust the medical profession in a way you don't when you're a scared diabetic kid who gets jabbed too much? I don't think they make commemorative stuffed teeth to give retiring dentists. So instead, Dr. O'Reilly, I'm giving you this: an update to my 4-year-old review, to let you know that you are missed, and to say thank you so much for years of care and blather.
