We went there with friends (a couple) four days ago and had various types of coffee & a few snacks outdoors. There was a nice ambiance and the coffee was very good. We enjoyed lingering and the young female server was pleasant. My husband & I asked if we could have some tap water and she readily complied (a rarity in Germany). Then the bill arrived and I said we'd pay. I always glance at bills because there are occasional mistakes, but it seemed awkward in front of our friends - so it wasn't until later (having saved the receipt to write a review) that I noticed we'd been charged almost one euro/each for the tap water. If you're going to CHARGE for tap water, tell the customer UPFRONT. Also; I gave the server a generous tip, and I wouldn't have been so inclined if I'd known about the tap water charges. And, then she didn't return for a very long time (I needed change for the payment). I would otherwise have given four stars if it wasn't for what happened at the end. read more
