    I came in on 1/22/19 and saw Dr. Kelly. She was ABSOLUTELY amazing. I was a bit nervous to come in…read morebecause 1. I don't have insurance. 2. The state is considered a "pill mill" so it's hard for the patients whom are in actual pain to be seen or request refills. 3. The reviews about the staff were absolutely horrible. After speaking to the OFFICE MANAGER (I am beyond shocked due to working in the medical field myself) - she wouldn't let me get one word in. The moment I request any refill or to speak with a nurse or doctor - she immediately raise her voice and says "we can not do that" and became immediately aggressive. She has no idea what the doctor and I spoke about on my visit. I asked MULTIPLE times if she would leave a message for the doctor for me and she repeatedly said "THE DOCTORS DO NOT DEAL WITH THE PHONE CALLS. THEY DO NOT LIKE TALKING TO PATIENTS". I was beyond shocked at how she reacted. Listen, I totally get the whole "we have to obey the law when it comes to specific pain meds"; however, she was like a pit bull being released to protect the doctors. She refused to leave a message of any sort. Then she put me on speaker phone. I felt beyond violated. I asked multiple times to take me off speaker phone due to it made me feel uncomfortable and she said she was "alone". Being a nurse myself, I would NEVER put my patient on speaker phone for other patients or staff to hear their personal medical questions or requests. That's what we call HIPAA violation. Just a little add on - this office has been hiring since I moved back to this area (I moved back in 2017) and they have been HIRING SINCE THEN. They can NEVER keep an employee due to this office manager. I have close friends that were shocked on how they were treated at this facility. I've been offered numerous job interviews from this company but it never looks good when they're constantly hiring and firing; therefore, I never responded to their phone calls asking for an interview. I'm happy I followed my gut feeling. If the staff and the manager could maybe take some Customer Service courses - I do believe it would improve their attitude and they could definitely benefit from it. Dr. Kelly is great - but I will no longer go back due to the office manager. She does not know how to swallow pride. It wouldn't surprise me if she responded this review negatively. I happily got my refills today from another doctor by ONE visit with them. That's how easy it was. One call. One visit. That's all. Take note office manager. You don't have to be so aggressive. Life is too precious. It sounds like this job may give you high blood pressure because you sound so miserable. Try to stay positive.

    No call from Dr's office for prescription status. During the visit, I was told I would get a call…read morelater that day. 35 min wait (I was the only person in the waiting room at 1:15 another patient arrived ~1:30) 3 staff in reception all were less than cheerful and high on lazy. (Staff who took my money/payment and blood pressure expressed surprise ("someone should have done this already" = no one had entered me (my info) in the computer. At 30 mins of waiting, I was asked to pay. Upon paying I was told I would be taken back (to the exam room) Then another 5 min wait. Facilities were disappointing/concerning. Dingy floors, stained seats, ripped/deteriorated corners on exam table, smoke alarm sized hole high in wall with wires protruding from wall, clutter,... Nurse did not tell me what numbers were for heart rate/pulse or oxygen; PA did tell me what the numbers were that I saw on the finger clip (thank you) (PA *I assume I was actually seen/evaluated by a PA). PA had good bedside manner = explained various aspects, was positive and friendly (very unlike front office staff) though ultimately I received no help from a doctor (Gottfried was the name on the wall) by the end of the day. Level of Dr's professionalism = NOT even a courtesy status call! after I left message regarding not receiving information on my Rx) *I hope the PA can work in a Dr's office that better fits his effort (he seems to care about the patient/others left me cold (including no call from the Dr.). I will follow up writing a letter state licensing detailing my experience here. I will not give them money again.
