Front desk team (Kalyna and Amelia) are always helpful, the newly renovated facilities are clean, minimalist, and welcoming. They focus on wellness; unlike other wellness places, they do not upsell, and they do not have front-desk people imposingly and condescendingly asking you to tip on top of everything when you pay. I felt like she was really interested in fixing what ailed me and not just giving me another massage. Still after all that, the massage was awesome, though short because the evaluation took so long. I received a little welcome package with epsom salts and some more information - which was actually helpful. When I tried to give her a tip, she asked simply for recommendations which is what this is for! If you has a hurt and live in the area, I recommend going there. My mother was a patient at Runnymede Healthcare Centre this past summer. While she was excited to…read morehave her rehabilitation at this state-of-the-art facility, she encountered less than standard care with her personal hygiene needs. She developed a bedsore, became ill and was transferred back to hospital. While the excellent care provided in Hospital healed her infection, and started to heal her bedsore, she decided to enter into palliative care. She was able to transition to her home to spend her last days amongst those she loved. Our advice is for the family to be questioning, present as much as possible and insist on being given the specific medical information about their loved one's health. The nursing staff for the most part is excellent, as are the O.T./PT.'s. Clearly there was a lapse in patient observations being documented, communicated and acted upon.

But in fact, I got excellent treatment from all the staff at the center, including nurses, support workers, cleaning and kitchen staff. The doctor who took care of my health came to see me and answered questions every time I asked to see her. And the administration lady was also present to assist me. I have nothing but words of gratitude for the entire team at this incredible health center. For obvious reasons, I would not like to have to be hospitalized again, but as a Latin lady, I can only tell you that I will always carry you in my heart.

From the moment I entered the door they were so helpful, professional -the girl in the front desk, Jessica, is amazing, so smart and attentive- and the initial visit and assessment was 10/10. The therapist that supervises my treatment, Jake, was extremely thorough and took all the time necessary to study my posture, my feet, my muscles and all the components that are necessary to really understand where the pain comes from. He also had the patience to explain me everything and more about back/leg anatomy, nerve locations and what not and answered every question I had before programming my treatment. No personal call to set up an appointment. No acknowledging my experience. Just covering your perspective When you take any kind of customer service course or even personal development, it talks about the stuff when things don't go right where you get the nuggets. I offered you a gift. Really, it wasn't until I was talking to a few of my older neighbours that I found that was a trend. We can all have bad days. Sad thing, I went out of my way to come back to Pivot because of my experience in the past. So even as a repeat customer, I felt confident that your people would help me figure out what was happening as my knee didn't feel like other insignificant injuries. I trusted you. When I tell you your Dr nor your physio DID NOT tell me to set another appointment, nor did your front desk staff when they took my payment, your response is to tell me I am wrong. And to find out if there is any sign of arthritis, something volunteered by your person, I need to pay you all more money to find that out when there is nothing here showing me that you care one iota about my experience at all. Actions speak louder than words. I really hope you use this as a training tool. I can tell you that this experience had me quite down at the thought of not being able to be physically active, a Grief inducing event. Thankfully I have others who helped me. PS, I said nothing about how hard you have to work to get where you are. They suggested everything my current physiotherapist has been suggesting and they didn't try to sell me services. They know I have an upcoming appointment with a rheumatologist and they told me to come back to them if the rheumatologist doesn't figure out the cause of my problem. I was really happy with their honesty and how they work with their clients. If I was looking for a new physiotherapist, I would definitely consider coming here. Hopefully they will be able to help you with whatever pain/injuries you may be experiencing.
