The tanks are clean, the fish look healthy, and the plant variety is far better than what you usually find in most LA shops. You can tell they put real care into their aquatics section. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. They are easy to talk to and always willing to help without any pressure or upselling. Their hardscape materials are great quality as well. The supply selection is a little more limited, but everything they carry is solid and well chosen, so it still feels like a complete shop. They also have a very impressive collection of reptiles. Some truly beautiful species that are clearly well cared for. If you're into snakes, lizards, or other exotics, it is definitely worth a visit. And the bird section is surprisingly nice too, with a good variety of healthy, active birds. Overall, this store is incredibly well rounded and one of the better pet shops in the area.
