We visited the campus today to see an exhibition and every single employee we met were friendly, outgoing, willing to answer any questions we had about the school and its' educational focus. We had never heard of Goshen College before but we will definitely remember it going forward and make sure to keep it in mind for when our daughter decides what she wants to major in when she's at the college selection phase!

Every student spends a semester in another culture, usually in a third world country. I'm a grad. I spent a semester in Honduras. You learn things about yourself, your culture, your values that you never would have in a classroom. GC is also a great school for the arts--music, theater, art, with two nationally recognized performing venues (Umble Center, Music Center). Strong nursing program, strong communications program, global center for anabaptism, the Mennonite Historical Library and Mennonite Archives. Technology is good. Financial Aid is generous. It's a least debt school.

They have a great range of media - movies and CDs. They have regular activities for adult and children that are engaging and a nice way to meet people in our community. Everyone is very nice and goes out of their way to help card holders. The library itself is small and set in a mini wooded area with 1 or 2 picnic tables. I use the Elkhart library website to search for items of interest to me. When I find something I like, I place it on hold and get a text to my phone when that item is ready. I have had many CDs shipped over from larger libraries, so I don't have to leave my neighborhood. ( I am collecting music on a hard drive because the Bluetooth in my vehicle is temperamental and I enjoy road trips! )
