Anyway, you can bring your own bathing suit or go around nekked. It's up to you, it's a judgment free zone and those Germans are very accepting of everyone you know! You're given a locker, and you can choose to get some towels and sandals for a small fee. There's also a shower, a dry sauna, wet sauna, and cooling room. I pretty much did everything I could in the 3 hours paid for. After you are done, dressed, and return your things (if you rented anything that is), you can relax in the front area with some Turkish tea. I slept sooo good that night. Can't wait to go back!

But when my husband came to tranxx, they said (made up?) a story that just this morning they were fixing the capsule and something went wrong, so it's out of service! Since my husband is a very busy man and couldn't change the date they offered instead, he took the swimming pool floating. But IT WAS NOT WHAT HE CAME THERE FOR. He said it was nothing special for that money. What was the most disappointing that they didn't call beforehand to say they had a problem with the capsule!!! That's just a bad service. And they didn't seam sorry, didn't offer any extras as a consolation. I will never recommend Tranxx to any of my friends, nor I will ever go there myself.

A few notes today: *The spa is located on the 6th floor of the Weinmeister Hotel (in the general area of U-bahn Weinmeisterstrasse, the M1 tram stop for Weinmeisterstrasse/Gipsstrasse when you go south and Hackescher Markt going north or Hackescher Markt S-bahn stop itself). When you enter the front door (with the "street art" on it), you have to have the staff let you into the elevator/lift area since you don't have a keycard. You just say that you have an appointment at the BeautySpa and hoped they could let you in to the elevator. I speak German, but the hotel staff speaks English very well. *Pedicure was excellent. You have your own private room and recline with cookies, tea, lemon water. Good quality color selection. Service was excellent. Cost was 55 Euro for pedicure and color. Most of their prices are online, though, so you can check those out. The woman I worked with spoke some English but we stuck to German since she feels more comfortable with that. She is Italian, so she speaks that as well. *They accept cash, Visa, Mastercard and EC-card (which is a German/European type of card). Overall, recommended.
