First review in English - yeah! Europe'a Grand Canyon, I must admit it's not as grand as the Grand Canyon in the states but it's still impressive for Europe with the green water.
The driving route of the map is pretty straight forward to follow as its one oval and a road cutting the oval if you don't feel like going around the whole oval.
There are small towns you can stop by for lunch or a break. Most of them do not speak English so having a bit of French can help.

We drove past the Gorges du Verdon when travelling from Nice to Les Baux de Provence.
We were impressed with winding roads, green valleys, rocky ridges, and of course the stunning blue colours of the Verdon Gorge and Lac de Sainte Croix.
Highly recommended to have a picnic by the lake or get on the lake with kayaks. read more
