You do not want to do that. Her father, Dr. Lee Warren, was my dentist for over 30 years. Dr. Lee Warren was experienced, knowledgeable, precise, and an expert at his profession. He had a comforting bedside manner and always kept you at ease. Dr. Blair Warren is the opposite of all of those things. I had hoped to continue using this practice after Dr. Lee Warren retired, but I have no desire to see Dr. Blair Warren again. She is new to the profession, so mistakes are expected. People need a dentist they can trust. She is not that dentist. She does not have the worst bedside manner I've experienced, but I would not rate it higher than tolerable. There is an underlying tension in the staff. When I have mentioned this perceived tension, they get very quiet and start looking around to see if anyone is listening. They don't say, "Oh, you know, good days and bad days." Instead, they furtively say as little as possible. "Dr. Blair" comes across as a bit of a princess who is accustomed to the finer things in life. And you are going to pay for them. This practice has always been one of the most expensive in town. They charge a good bit beyond what an insurance company considers "usual and customary", more so than other dentists, so you can expect to pay more out-of-pocket. When her father Dr. Lee Warren was practicing, it was worth it. That is no longer the case. Dr. Blair Warren is new and inexperienced. I'm sure she will learn along the way, but I will not pay premium prices to be a blip on the learning curve of an unpleasant, inexperienced dentist.

I am 42 years old and never had an experience like this. The staff was so warm and friendly. Dr. Blaire gave me shot and I didn't even feel it! I was so relaxed while they worked on my teeth that I almost fell asleep. I am normally squeezing my hands into the chair. I want to move to Boone just so that I can go to this practice!!!

My experience with OP Smiles was frustrating and unsatisfactory. At almost 50 and having always…read morewanted a beautiful smile, I invested $6,800 and two years of my time hoping to achieve straight teeth. However, several issues left me needing braces again. One of my primary concerns was the abrupt dismissal from treatment. A casual comment I made during a discussion with my orthodontist about my alignment goals was apparently misunderstood as my acceptance of my teeth's current state. After two years of clear aligners, we discussed my options. My doctor and I agreed a cosmetic dentistry consultation was in order. I was then to return and continue aligners or be fitted for final retainers. After a dental consultation, I decided to continue with my treatment plan with aligners. But when I returned for my next appointment after the agreed-upon consultation with my dentist, I was informed that I needed braces. To my dismay, the doctor told me I would be fully charged for a new treatment plan. This sudden change in direction left me feeling misled and shocked, as I thought a few more aligners would finish the job. I also found discrepancies when comparing my treatment records with those of my son, who was also a patient of OP Smiles. His records indicated a "final visit," a "Post Treatment Summary," and final photos, whereas mine did not. He also received a retainer, as is customary at a final visit. This lack of a final visit is why I believed I was still under a treatment plan. When I asked the staff at OP Smiles to contact my doctor they said that he had retired and was unreachable. My treatment plan was initially estimated to take 16 months, but it stretched over two years without achieving the expected results. This significant delay disrupted my plans and left me frustrated and unsure about the effectiveness of the recommended treatment. I was not informed about the additional components of the treatment process. I was surprised to discover that in addition to the clear aligners, I had attachments, hooks, and rubber bands that I needed to wear for over a year. These extra parts and pieces were unexpected, uncomfortable, and quite noticeable. The lack of transparency in explaining the full scope of the treatment left me unprepared for what I was signing up for and added to the discomfort I experienced during my orthodontic treatment. I caution anyone considering them for orthodontic treatment to be aware of these issues and potential challenges. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend OP Smiles. . Instead of leaving with a beautiful smile, my experience with OP Smiles was misunderstandings, inadequate record-keeping, and scheduling challenges. I am in a position where I still require braces to achieve the desired outcome. I recommend that anyone considering this practice be extremely clear and cautious in their communication, as a seemingly innocuous comment can prematurely end your treatment plan.

I consistently wait 20-40 minutes for my kid's appt and then I have no idea what is going on since they are too busy to inform me after seeing my son for 2 minutes. I wish they took more time to actually get to know their patients.
