I wasn't super familiar with Salvadoran food, but the menu was very easy to navigate. The star of our lunch were the chicken pastelitos. Similar to the concept of an empanada, but fried and scrumptious. Perfect appetizer. The fried platanos (plantains) were also perfect. They got the crust outside just to my liking. The tamales were also outstanding. It's hard to find restaurants that do very freshly steamed, tender tamales like this. It was served in the husk. We got the one with the pork filling which hit the spot and complimented the sauces they provided. I would totally stop by here to pick up a large order of tamales, I'll have to look into if they can do that. All in all, this place is incredible and worth the drive if you've never tried pupusas or anything of the sort. Very casual, but sit-down and order at the table.

I would say they are larger compared to other places and under $4 each! I ordered 2 with just cheese, 1 jalapeños w/cheese and 1 Loroco with cheese. They were so good especially to satisfy the craving I was having!! They have other kind which I will go back and try!! So if you around this area and would like some Salvadorian food you won't be disappointed.
