Look at this patio they built for me. This patio is amazing! This is hardscaping genius…read more I needed the work done because the maple tree was too close to my house. They cut down the tree and hauled it away. Then they found the wires and pipes. Then they used a track hoe to dig up the tree roots. It was huge mess but they hauled it all away. They also dug up a really big flower bed. They moved valve boxes, augmented the soil, and planted bulbs. They smoothed the patio area and filled it with layers of gravel and sand. They measured the grade and made a plan for drainage. They brought blocks and caps and pavers from a local source. They built the steps, carefully fitting together the corner joints. Then they built the walls and glued down the caps. To place the pavers, they started with a circle and wove a pattern around it. They added a border in a contrasting shade. To make the pavers fit together, they had to cut each one with a heavy saw. Every piece had to be measured and marked and cut. They did it with teamwork and rapid precision. They sanded the floor with polymeric sand to seal it. Then they helped me move the furniture and hang the artwork. The project took less than a month. Every day they left the work site as neat as a pin. I paid them very well for doing this work and you should too.

This summer I needed a yard cleanup to trim some out of control bushes, an overgrown portion of my yard that had a dead stump and some rocks, pull a large amount of invasive vegetation, and to power wash the moss growth of my steps and a patio. I realized I needed help after several hours in the hot sun. After getting bids from three other gardening providers on Yelp, I ended up choosing Joseph. And am I glad I did! He came out and after walking through my overgrown pollinator garden, he gave me a quote which was pretty much consistent with the others. Big difference? He communicates well, he is ethical, he shows up on time, works hard, cleans up afterward. He is also a nice man who cares about the quality of what he does. Joseph is knowledgeable about many plants and trees. To his credit, when he encountered one he wasn't familiar with, he set about educating himself so he would do things right. He pruned my Mock Orange, Oregon Grapes, my Japanese Maple, a wildly out of control espaliered Apple tree, thinned out some fading seasonals, and pulled up a dying azalea I'd tried, but failed, to bring back. Then pulled out the overgrown weeds from my curb and sidewalk to make it all look more tidy. I'll be calling Joseph again, absolutely. You should, too. My before photos aren't uploading after three tries. Hmmmm. Trust me though, things were out of control.

There are still good people in this world, and Cody at Gorge Us Lawn Care LLC is one of them…read more After my father passed away last autumn, our family was left trying to manage things he had always taken care of himself... including all the yard work and equipment maintenance. None of us even knew how to get the lawn mower running, much less diagnose what was wrong with it. Cody stepped in without hesitation. Within about 10 minutes, he had the mower up and running again. When the belt later broke, he even offered to help us get a replacement that same night. That kind of kindness and willingness to help people is rare these days. What makes Cody especially valuable to this community is that he doesn't just do lawn care; he actively helps reduce fire danger by keeping properties maintained and under control. Anyone who lives in this area knows how important that is. He's done fantastic work for my parents in the past, and once again proved why he's someone you can trust. If you need lawn care, property cleanup, fire prevention maintenance, or just someone reliable who genuinely cares about helping people, I strongly recommend Gorge Us Lawn Care LLC.
