The pool had broken tiles and even missing the cover plates on the ground. The gutters were falling down and there was rust everywhere. In the morning I travelled to the gym. Both treadmills were slipping and completely unusable. The kids swimming pool was dirty. My son jumped in and clouds of dirt spawned all around him. This is the beginning of summer too, it's not like it's winter. I didn't try the spa, wasn't adventurous enough. One of the storm water grills near the pool was rusted through with sharp rusted metal 1m from the pool. Seriously if my son fell in there it would be an immediate trip to the hospital for a tetnis shot.

The manger, Trevor, was very friendly and helpful and didn't seem to mind that we were a bit noisy and rambunctious when we were playing some bachelorette games. The rooms were tidy and clean, the bathroom well-stocked and comfortable, and one of the rooms had a small kitchen and full-sized fridge, which was really handy for us (cocktail making and such). In all, an affordable option for staying right in the middle of Victor, particularly if you have a few extra people in the room(s) to share costs.

I have spent a great deal of my professional life organising functions - weddings being the most high pressure of these events (even the meekest girl has the ability to turn into a raging bridezilla) and I was absolutely floored with the organisation, affability and professionalism of Zak the restaurant manager and the woodstock crew. We had an alternate drop menu, chosen by the bride and groom. Every dish was delicious and maintained a very good standard (not quite as good as their unique, rustic a la carte menu, but it's impossible to acheive the same level of finish en masse). The restaurant at woodstock is called Coterie and is in the unique semi circular building where the reception was held. The space features an open fire in the middle of the inner wall. On Friday evenings they do a pizza night, nom, nom, sundays they have live jazz and there are Llamas over the back fence! Great novelty factor. The Pier hotel serves a good variety of tap beers at a fair price, along with the regular range for spirits and pre mixed drinks. And for those who always ask, yes! They will serve you a jäger bomb on a Sunday afternoon. Architecture. This pub is among one of the many beautiful south Australian country pubs. Although unlike many on prominent street corners around the state, it doesn't have a corner entrance door, but rather a main door on the lake side main street. The bar is J shaped which always makes for good atmosphere and makes the most of the natural light. A verandah and raised footpath/balcony wraps the street frontage of the pub, with tables and chairs on the lake side to take in the view. The View. This is one thing many SA pubs struggle with, as it relies on natural features in a state known for how largely flat and featureless it is. The early planners of Milang got this one right. Having the pub situated on a rise on the esplanade overlooking Lake Alexandrina was a decision that continues to pay off today. To be able to sit and enjoy the company of friends while taking in the largest body of fresh water in the state is one of the nicest ways to spend an afternoon on the Fleurieu Peninsula.

This wildlife enclosure is located in Adelaide South Australia. When you first enter the compound you follow the path to a large enclosed bird atrium. There were so many beautifully colored birds flying about playing games with each other. One parrot even landed on my head! See posted picture. The birds were very friendly, and none of them pooped on me. I purchased a bag of kangaroo food and did not have to go far before I was being stalked by a mob of these cute creatures. I believe the groundskeeper said they house approximately 200 kangaroo. The kangaroos were free to roam the large property. They were very friendly, though the Park makes you sigh a liability waver just in case you get hurt. I got to pet and play with wallabies and a cute baby joey. If you want to pet a koala, make sure to look at the time on your program that tells you when they take him out. An interesting and kinda scary fact is that koalas, even though they are cute and cuddly, they do not like to be approached. They have very sharp claws and teeth. The keeper gives strict instructions to only pet the shoulder blade/back area because they have a bone plate there and they cannot feel you touching them. Urimbirra also has a large reptile exhibit. Other animals to see were Dingo, possum, alligator, deer, fox, sambar, wombat, and one of my favorites a Tasmanian devil. There is a small restaurant and gift area located at the entrance of the park. You can also pack a lunch and have a picnic with the wildlife. This was a big highlight on my trip to Australia. I have never been able to get so up close and personal with so many types of animals before.

My in-law was here to visit us and really wanted to see Kangaroos and koalas, this was the best place for us to being her. It's only $15 per person and you get stay there as long as you'd like. You can also pet the koala for free and take selfie. There are also some other animals there as well. Staff are very friendly and a gift shop on the way out for you to bring home.
