My husband brought my car in to fix a cap and the tech told him we should flush the hoses so we did. 2 days later smoke was billowing out of my hood and my car was over heating while we were out of town. We took it to another repair shop where we were told it was 2 blown heater hoses and that this issue happens when there's either water or air left in the hose after the flush is done improperly. The manager claims they can't prove it was them, but no one else has ever worked on this part of my car so clearly it's not just coincidence. The whole problem cost me an extra $1000 out of my own pocket and the store manager Mel won't call me or my husband back to fix it. Brought my car in to replace the brake pads. They quoted me $900 for everything which was simply ridiculous. They told me since it's a Japanese made car (it's a Honda) that they need "special parts" to do the work which would require extra attention. Oh, and they also said it wouldn't be done for 2 days. Yeah, no thank you. Instead, I took my car down the street to Mavis. They replaced my brake pads in less than 2 hours and it cost under $300. They did an awesome job. Somehow when I go to this place I feel it is decent. I went recently for tire change with my friend and their lower range tyres were there for 90$ or so which i think works fine. It looks better than walmart 60$ ones... They were pretty quick with it and everything was done in 10 minutes. They have a nice sitting area and good coffee! Though I am not sure how it would be to get the car repairs done. Assuming that its an established thing, they must have high labor cost and for those going through insurance, it might be best to go to authorised service centers to get these things. They don't give it away but the service seems average in price for what you'd expect to pay for quality service from people you can trust and who know what they're doing. I have never felt screwed leaving here. The waiting area is also better than most: Nice sitting area, television and free coffee. If it's going to be a while, there is also a walking distance shopping center with a place to eat, etc. read more

if your going here for just an oil change and tire rotation then they are fine..but DO NOT allow them to tell you more work needs to be done without a 2nd opinion!!!! They tried scamming my son (student at LSU) Into over $1000 of additional work, saying the balance cover gaskets were leaking. When I checked it there was no fresh oil leak, 2 independent mechanics also thoroughly inspected the vehicle and could not find a leak. A new Jasper motor was installed 1 year ago and a Jasper tech also checked it and found nothing. These guys are liars and crooks!!! Customer Service - Was in town dropping off my daughter at LSU and with this had a limited time to schedule and get the work done. Went in for a flat repair today. Not only did they repair the flat but also found that the other tires were over inflated (by the dealership last week) so they adjusted them accordingly. Staff and the General Manager were super friendly. And they didn't charge me for the tire repair! If I hadn't dropped off my car, it would probably would've taken a little longer than I had time to wait. I'll definitely go back should I need to replace my tires in the future. read more

I was told my oil change would only take 45 minutes to an hour, so I went to grab breakfast across the street. I came back an hour and a half later and my car was not ready and they told me it would only be 30 more minutes. so I went back across the street to grab coffee and came back 45 minutes later and my car was still not ready. The whole process took 2 and a half hours for a service that should only take 15 minutes. They either need to learn how to tell customers how long it would actually take for a simple service such as an oil change or don't offer the service because they clearly cannot do it efficiently. read more

I was charged twice as much as they quoted me before hand, they tried to make me pay for a bunch of unnecessary services, and even tried to charge me for power steering fluid for a vehicle that DOES NOT EVEN TAKE FLUID. Although the quality of work has never given me any issues, the customer service is so frustrating that I will not be coming back here in the future. The employee I dealt with was extremely slow, was not confident in the business he was doing, and was somewhat clueless. He offered me a discount, then called his boss for a approval of that deal (the same discount he offered to the customer right before me) and I ended up having to fight the boss over the phone for the discount that was offered to me. Then after convincing me to get 4 new tires when I only came in for 1, they didn't even have the 4th tire. When I came back to get it installed and had an appointment for 8:30, they didn't start working on my car until atleast 9:30. I will not be returning to this location Again. When I arrived at 5pm to pick my car up (after not receiving any updates) the Manager informed me they would need to keep my car until Monday. This is horrible customer service. I took my vehicle into Goodyear (222 lee drive, baton rouge) for a slow leak in one tire and bought 4 tires for $1,000 on 11/27/17. I waited 3 hours before they told me of the accident. I do not have my truck back yet (1/18/2018) They will return the truck to me repaired by a subcontractor only if I sign away any claim to resultant hidden damage anywhere in the truck. I went in for a routine oil change and they were backed up with a couple of cars in line in front of me. They said that it would be an hour and a half before it would be ready. So I decided to wait there and after that hour and a half went by they came to the front only to tell me that they wouldnt do the oil change because my car smelled bad. Keep in mind that I deliver pizzas so my car doesnt smell great. The simple fact of the matter is that the only time that they would be in the car would be to pull it into the garage and back out when they were finished. It is unbelievable that they refused to endure 15 seconds of a bad but definitely tolerable smell and said that they would change the oil when I fixed the smell. Definitely not going back and I will recommend that everyone go somewhere else. read more

I came in for an oil change at 11:45 and was told my car would be ready by 1:30 - 2:00pm. A little longer than I'm used to waiting for an oil change but okay it's fine they're probably busy. No problem! I came back at 1:45 and my car wasn't ready yet. Still, I'm sure they're getting to it it'll be ready shortly. 3:30 rolls around... Okay what's going on? I ask the front desk lady for an update and she tells me my lug nuts are stripped so they had to replace them and that's what's taking so long. Well that's very suspicious to me because I asked for an oil change, which has absolutely nothing to do with my tires? This is unacceptable. The man behind the counter said that what happened was with my oil change there's a free tire rotation and that's why my tire was being fooled with and all the sudden were messed up and had to be fixed. Still, I was never made aware of the free tire rotation, and had I been asked I would have said no because I did not plan on staying long. He did apologize for not asking me first and gave me the tire rotation and new bolts free of charge. All I needed was an oil change. Being a young female college student, this is not the first time I've been taken advantage of when it comes to getting my car fixed up. However, I expect respect and honesty and do not feel I received that during my visit. This is very frustrating to me. An oil change should not take 5 hours to complete and any other services should be APPROVED OF. The fact that they let me wait in the lobby for two hours and didn't tell me what was happening until I confronted them tells me they were likely trying to cover it up. I didn't have to pay for the bolts, but was still charged for the oil change even after having waited the entire afternoon. Poor costumer service. I will not be returning to this Goodyear. read more

They were nice enough to send a guy (his name might have been Sid, he was super awesome!) to help us get the truck off the shoulder and into a parking lot. He jacked up the truck, took the tire back with him to Goodyear, loaded a new tire onto the rim and brought it back to the truck and replaced it for us. I noted the error and asked if I should make another appointment and come back. I was told no, they could change the oil. The man at the desk did not apologize or seem concerned about the error. I let him know I lived nearby and would go home if it would take more than an hour. He did not indicate I should leave. After nearly 1.5 hours I asked how much longer and was told 30 more minutes. To start, the people here are very friendly and helpful but the lack of attention to detail nearly caused me an accident. I went in for a basic balance and rotate, which took hours. I could understand if they were busy, but I was the only person in the waiting room for the first hour. They also said I needed an insanely overpriced break job (which I know I didn't need because I do my own breaks when I am home). I saw them trying to sell college kids on unnecessary things as well (refusing to repair a tire, insisting all tires needed replacement, etc). What's worse is they did an alignment, which I didn't ask for, costing me over $200 for something I was planning on getting done after I got my paycheck. The only reason I was there was for my Goodyear tire warranty balance, but they added a service without my permission that I had to pay for. I felt taken advantage of. I understand everyone is trying to make a buck, but I made the financial sacrifice for better tires with the warranty savings in mind. As I was driving down the street my hubcap flew off. I noticed ALL the hubcaps were incorrectly put on and I went ahead and took it upon myself to tighten the lug nuts because I am constantly on the road and can't risk shoddy tire work. read more
