Don't trust them - called me to tell me my wife had a screw the "shoulder" of her tire and needed it replaced. Wanted $350.00 Told them to put the tire back on. Took it to McDonald tire and they patched the tire for $23.00 because the screw was not on the shoulder. read more

My husband brought my car in to fix a cap and the tech told him we should flush the hoses so we did. 2 days later smoke was billowing out of my hood and my car was over heating while we were out of town. We took it to another repair shop where we were told it was 2 blown heater hoses and that this issue happens when there's either water or air left in the hose after the flush is done improperly. The manager claims they can't prove it was them, but no one else has ever worked on this part of my car so clearly it's not just coincidence. The whole problem cost me an extra $1000 out of my own pocket and the store manager Mel won't call me or my husband back to fix it. Don't take your car here - they don't stand by their work and won't make it right if they mess up. read more

Good service! They'll make you aware of any issues without trying to sell you something you really don't need!

I stopped in to get air in my tires because the barometric pressure in the air had my tires low. I am truly incompetent at putting air in my tires because instead of putting it in, I ALWAYS take it out. The employees were so Nice and helpful. I will be back when I need tires read more

Brought my car in to replace the brake pads. They quoted me $900 for everything which was simply ridiculous. They told me since it's a Japanese made car (it's a Honda) that they need "special parts" to do the work which would require extra attention. Oh, and they also said it wouldn't be done for 2 days. Yeah, no thank you. Instead, I took my car down the street to Mavis. They replaced my brake pads in less than 2 hours and it cost under $300. They did an awesome job. Don't waste your time and money at this Goodyear. read more

Went in for a nail in the tire. 45 minutes later, out the door with NO CHARGE. Could not believe it. Man understands repeat business read more

This guys are amazing and worked fast and efficient. Had to have a new battery and a new main fuse and it didn't cost a arm in the leg. First place I have been to that don't sell me on getting other things fix for my car. read more

Fuck this place. Brought it for an alignment, told me my transmission was leaking like crazy. I immediately took it to tricare for a second opinion and turns out they were fully bullshitting. Nothing is wrong with either of those things and I got my alignment done in 30 minutes. Women beware, scammers will scam read more

Somehow when I go to this place I feel it is decent. I went recently for tire change with my friend and their lower range tyres were there for 90$ or so which i think works fine. It looks better than walmart 60$ ones... They were pretty quick with it and everything was done in 10 minutes. They have a nice sitting area and good coffee! Though I am not sure how it would be to get the car repairs done. Assuming that its an established thing, they must have high labor cost and for those going through insurance, it might be best to go to authorised service centers to get these things. At the end of the day why should you want to go here - TYRES! read more

Goodyear Auto Service - Store hours - Tires Near Me - Baton Rouge, Louisiana

I come here for all of my auto needs: Oil change, tires and other random things that happen along the way. They don't give it away but the service seems average in price for what you'd expect to pay for quality service from people you can trust and who know what they're doing. I have never felt screwed leaving here. The waiting area is also better than most: Nice sitting area, television and free coffee. If it's going to be a while, there is also a walking distance shopping center with a place to eat, etc. read more

Scheduled an appointment online for an oil change. When I went for the service, the guy behind the desk said they only had one person working and they couldn't do the oil change unless I left the car. If you can't keep up with online scheduling, don't make it available. read more

Andre was so nice and professional super helpful! Immediately knew what was wrong! Thank you so much!!

if your going here for just an oil change and tire rotation then they are fine..but DO NOT allow them to tell you more work needs to be done without a 2nd opinion!!!! They tried scamming my son (student at LSU) Into over $1000 of additional work, saying the balance cover gaskets were leaking. When I checked it there was no fresh oil leak, 2 independent mechanics also thoroughly inspected the vehicle and could not find a leak. A new Jasper motor was installed 1 year ago and a Jasper tech also checked it and found nothing. These guys are liars and crooks!!! Always get a 2nd and 3rd opinion and don't trust these liars. read more

Good folks over here. I came in without an appointment and they worked me in. They were pleasant guys and more than reasonable with the pricing. read more

I came in with a tire on a rental car that was low pressure and the gentleman got it patched up quickly and was so nice about it. Great people there! I highly recommend this place because of the people working there. read more

Mel is the best! They know what they are doing and are extremely generous with helping customers! Highly recommend!

Went in for a flat repair today. Not only did they repair the flat but also found that the other tires were over inflated (by the dealership last week) so they adjusted them accordingly. Staff and the General Manager were super friendly. And they didn't charge me for the tire repair! If I hadn't dropped off my car, it would probably would've taken a little longer than I had time to wait. I'll definitely go back should I need to replace my tires in the future. read more

Quality of Work - Never a complaint. Even though this was for a routine 'tire rotate', the work was done in a timely manner. Everything worked out very well. Customer Service - Was in town dropping off my daughter at LSU and with this had a limited time to schedule and get the work done. The area was hit by some major rain a few days before and with this many retail locations were closed. I forget the woman's name that was working the front desk. Christine I believe. Kudos to her and the rest of the crew at this Goodyear location as the did everything right to get me (as a new customer) in and out quickly. Location - No problems at all. Very easy to find. Summary - Thanks, We'll be back.... read more

Should have a disclaimer up front that they don't work on older vehicles, before making a customer wait for them to get to their vehicle.

Had a sound coming from under the hood. My ac makes a click when you first turn on the car, I was aware of that. Was told their master mechanic test drive my car and didn't hear a sound other than the ac. When I got my car back the odometer was exactly the same as it was when I dropped it off. Somebody lied. read more

Beware! I was charged twice as much as they quoted me before hand, they tried to make me pay for a bunch of unnecessary services, and even tried to charge me for power steering fluid for a vehicle that DOES NOT EVEN TAKE FLUID. This place is definitely "one of those" places your parents warned you about. read more

I was told my oil change would only take 45 minutes to an hour, so I went to grab breakfast across the street. I came back an hour and a half later and my car was not ready and they told me it would only be 30 more minutes. so I went back across the street to grab coffee and came back 45 minutes later and my car was still not ready. The whole process took 2 and a half hours for a service that should only take 15 minutes. They either need to learn how to tell customers how long it would actually take for a simple service such as an oil change or don't offer the service because they clearly cannot do it efficiently. read more

Although the quality of work has never given me any issues, the customer service is so frustrating that I will not be coming back here in the future. The employee I dealt with was extremely slow, was not confident in the business he was doing, and was somewhat clueless. He offered me a discount, then called his boss for a approval of that deal (the same discount he offered to the customer right before me) and I ended up having to fight the boss over the phone for the discount that was offered to me. Then after convincing me to get 4 new tires when I only came in for 1, they didn't even have the 4th tire. When I came back to get it installed and had an appointment for 8:30, they didn't start working on my car until atleast 9:30. I will not be returning to this location Again. Very disappointed in the service here. read more

I went in for an estimate on an alignment, it ended up being more severe than expected and was quoted $800+. Today I went to another location, and for the same services I'm paying $365. Two stars because they were quick. read more

Goodyear is closed on Sundays. I brought my car in on a Saturday at 8am. When I arrived at 5pm to pick my car up (after not receiving any updates) the Manager informed me they would need to keep my car until Monday. This is horrible customer service. Failure to communicate and then the assumption that I was ok with not having my car back until Monday. I will never return. read more

SEVERE WARNING OF OUTRAGEOUS BEHAVIOR! They dropped my Toyota Tundra pickup off a lift with extensive damage. Please read on... I took my vehicle into Goodyear (222 lee drive, baton rouge) for a slow leak in one tire and bought 4 tires for $1,000 on 11/27/17. I waited 3 hours before they told me of the accident. I do not have my truck back yet (1/18/2018) They will return the truck to me repaired by a subcontractor only if I sign away any claim to resultant hidden damage anywhere in the truck. I have to deal with the local dealer, the national office and the subcontractor. There is poor or no communication between them. 225 766 6432 read more

please save yourself money, time and frustration! This is by far the worst Goodyear I've ever been to.

Went here in a bind as the typical working mom rushing from here to there.. the manager took it upon himself to take care of my tire situation asap so I could get to carpool in time!! read more

My husband and I got a flat tire just down the street from this location. We walked there to get some help. They were nice enough to send a guy (his name might have been Sid, he was super awesome!) to help us get the truck off the shoulder and into a parking lot. He jacked up the truck, took the tire back with him to Goodyear, loaded a new tire onto the rim and brought it back to the truck and replaced it for us. He made what could have been a huge headache into a relatively painless experience. Thank you! read more

I went in for a routine oil change and they were backed up with a couple of cars in line in front of me. They said that it would be an hour and a half before it would be ready. So I decided to wait there and after that hour and a half went by they came to the front only to tell me that they wouldnt do the oil change because my car smelled bad. Keep in mind that I deliver pizzas so my car doesnt smell great. The simple fact of the matter is that the only time that they would be in the car would be to pull it into the garage and back out when they were finished. It is unbelievable that they refused to endure 15 seconds of a bad but definitely tolerable smell and said that they would change the oil when I fixed the smell. Definitely not going back and I will recommend that everyone go somewhere else. read more

My husband had a blow out on the interstate and Joe Hilton from Goodyear on Lee managed to find him a tire that no other tire shops could. We then decided to ask for a quote on run flats for my car. Joe matched the price we found from Costco. My mom also went by for an alignment. Overall we were pretty impressed with our 3 experiences. read more

I came in for an oil change at 11:45 and was told my car would be ready by 1:30 - 2:00pm. A little longer than I'm used to waiting for an oil change but okay it's fine they're probably busy. No problem! I came back at 1:45 and my car wasn't ready yet. Still, I'm sure they're getting to it it'll be ready shortly. 3:30 rolls around... Okay what's going on? I ask the front desk lady for an update and she tells me my lug nuts are stripped so they had to replace them and that's what's taking so long. Well that's very suspicious to me because I asked for an oil change, which has absolutely nothing to do with my tires? This is unacceptable. The man behind the counter said that what happened was with my oil change there's a free tire rotation and that's why my tire was being fooled with and all the sudden were messed up and had to be fixed. Still, I was never made aware of the free tire rotation, and had I been asked I would have said no because I did not plan on staying long. He did apologize for not asking me first and gave me the tire rotation and new bolts free of charge. All I needed was an oil change. Being a young female college student, this is not the first time I've been taken advantage of when it comes to getting my car fixed up. However, I expect respect and honesty and do not feel I received that during my visit. This is very frustrating to me. An oil change should not take 5 hours to complete and any other services should be APPROVED OF. The fact that they let me wait in the lobby for two hours and didn't tell me what was happening until I confronted them tells me they were likely trying to cover it up. I didn't have to pay for the bolts, but was still charged for the oil change even after having waited the entire afternoon. Poor costumer service. I will not be returning to this Goodyear. read more

My girlfriend was driving on the interstate with her two younger brothers and had a tire blowout on her way home one night. So the next day I took her car into this Goodyear where the customer advisor: Ms Laquiana greeted and me printed a few pages of tire information. As I proceeded to choose a tire she help me sort out which tire would be the best for my car and quickly got me into a new set of tires for the whole car. Now I will have peace of mind knowing that when my girlfriend gets her car back and she is drive back and forth from New Orleans and Baton Rouge. read more

I was driving from northern Louisiana to Florida and got a flat 20 miles out of Baton Rouge. I made an appointment online for an oil change and to have a noise checked out. When I arrived they had the wrong service requested. I noted the error and asked if I should make another appointment and come back. I was told no, they could change the oil. The man at the desk did not apologize or seem concerned about the error. I let him know I lived nearby and would go home if it would take more than an hour. He did not indicate I should leave. After nearly 1.5 hours I asked how much longer and was told 30 more minutes. No one here seems especially helpful or friendly. I won't return. This was formerly Wilds Car Care and has definetly not kept the good reputation we were accustomed to. read more

To start, the people here are very friendly and helpful but the lack of attention to detail nearly caused me an accident. I went in for a basic balance and rotate, which took hours. I could understand if they were busy, but I was the only person in the waiting room for the first hour. They also said I needed an insanely overpriced break job (which I know I didn't need because I do my own breaks when I am home). I saw them trying to sell college kids on unnecessary things as well (refusing to repair a tire, insisting all tires needed replacement, etc). What's worse is they did an alignment, which I didn't ask for, costing me over $200 for something I was planning on getting done after I got my paycheck. The only reason I was there was for my Goodyear tire warranty balance, but they added a service without my permission that I had to pay for. I felt taken advantage of. I understand everyone is trying to make a buck, but I made the financial sacrifice for better tires with the warranty savings in mind. As I was driving down the street my hubcap flew off. I noticed ALL the hubcaps were incorrectly put on and I went ahead and took it upon myself to tighten the lug nuts because I am constantly on the road and can't risk shoddy tire work. read more
