As a former automotive technician and Goodyear contractor (see that sweet 35% coupon code on my order?), I'm well aware of the classic tricks some shops use to squeeze a little extra cash from customers. Spoiler alert: It didn't work on me. I brought my car in for tires and an alignment--simple enough, right? But wait! Suddenly, Darryl (who, by the way, seems like a decent guy just trying to do his job) informs me that their technician, Frankel, discovered my rear brake pads were allegedly on the brink of disaster, practically grinding metal-on-metal like a scene out of Mad Max. Cue dramatic music. According to Frankel, my brakes were in worse shape than my marriage. Now, here's the kicker: Just four weeks ago, I had my car thoroughly inspected at another shop with an A+ reputation. Their verdict? My rear brakes were in tip-top shape. But I thought, "Hey, let's play along." I feigned shock and horror, and asked, "Oh no, can I take a look myself?" I snapped some photos (attached here), which clearly show enough brake pad material to survive an apocalypse. When I told Darryl I'd have to hold off on this oh-so-crucial repair, they tried to quote me nearly $700 for a simple pad and rotor job on a Honda Accord. Look, I know inflation is a thing, but seriously? I've seen less expensive Taylor Swift tickets. Once I had my keys securely in my hand, I casually informed Darryl that their technician might need a refresher course on what 6mm looks like versus "metal on metal." To their credit, I did receive a polite apology call afterward--nice touch, but I won't be coming back. Now, I'm not outright saying they were trying to pull a fast one on me, but I am suggesting that Frankel needs a little brake pad re-education. Or some glasses? And as someone who knows a few folks in the Goodyear organization, you bet I'll be passing this story along. read more

don't waste your time trying to make an appointment online like i did they start on your vehicle when they feel like it not when the appointment is set. Also after i got my car a part of my weather strip on the driver side was cutt off and i know 100% it wasn't like that when i bought it to them my car is brand new so a weat strip wouldn't just come off like that and you cou tell it was sliced/cutt the way it is. read more

I was satified with the work done. My only problem was after they did the diagnostic ($37), they pulled my car back out of the bay, and told me what the problem was. Instead of leaving the car in the bay and telling me. That way, they could have started the work. But with the car back in the parking lot, I was put back at the end of the line!!! 6!!, 6!! hrs later, I get my car back. BS... read more

The only reason they don't get 5 stars is b/c they are an auto repair shop & I am a woman. I automatically feel there is sum form of "hustling you out of your money" going on. I really don't know why I come here besides the the fact I can use my Macy's gift cards. Unfortunately instead of dropping off my vehicle I had to wait ...and over 2 hour wait for an oil change and tire rotation. Absolutely horrid. Called around 1 and asked could I come in early for my 1:30 AM appointment, they said that would be fine! Arrived at 1:00, they took my keys at 1:20. Around 2:30 I figured my car would be done, I go outside and I see my car isn't even under the garage yet! I talk to the 1 MECHANIC ON DUTY JUST 1! And he says that there are 4 people ahead of me . 4! And the lobby is completely empty except for 1 other person. I immediately ran inside and asked the man at the front desk, he goes outside and says you have one more person ahead. Came to get a tire repaired. Had to wait 5 minutes for someone to come out from the back. I was told it would be $35 and 1-1/2hrs (even with tire already removed). Garage bay only had one car inside. Called Firestone around the corner who was cheaper and took me immediately. Would never recommend this place, can't understand why it's still open. Worst Goodyear I've ever visited. read more

This is not my go to location , but only for an oil change I figured it wouldn't take to long . I called ahead and was told the estimated wait time would be about an hour and a half . After arriving here , I asked again and the hour and a half was the confirmed wait time . Almost 3 hours later I am still here and bored out of my mind . I only give the two star rating because of the comfortable chairs and free wifi. Other than that service here is slow very , very slow . read more

I came in for an oil chg, tire repair and tire rotation. I was initially told that this wld take a hour. A hour later was when my car was taken to the bay. Some time later I was told that the tire cld not be repaired based on their policy. A hour after that I discovered that they were out of the recommended oil for my car, and we're waiting for the supplier to bring it. In total I waited over 3 hours with no communication from the staff about delays that I didn't initiate myself. Terrible way to spend a Saturday. read more

My 62yr old mother takes her car up here for tire services and oil changes. She's been having issues with her car and took it here on 11/21/15 (sat). It was pretty crowded, but within a matter of minutes he came out and told her she needs a brand new radiator and it would cost over $1000. That sounds shifty because anyone who goes to this location knows it's going to take all of eternity for ANYTHING to get done. She ended up having two other individuals at another auto shop to look at her car for FREE and they stated that it's a seal in the transmission. Smh goodyear should be ashamed of themselves for trying to take advantage of their customers, especially women. If you go here, make sure you get another opinion because they only want your hard earned money. They just lost a loyal customer. Goodyear, stop thinking your customers are too stupid to see through your lies and deceit! read more

Unlike Josh the previous post, I have had good experience with this guys. First all, they are a full repair shop. If you need a fast oil service visit the quick lube place. Trying to get a discount rate price at the fast service of the quick lube places is insane. We that reside in this neighborhood appreciate these guys for all that they do to keep our vehicles going. Should be no stars but that's not an option. The service at this Goodyear was horrible. I needed 4 tires for a 2017 Q60. I decided I didn't want to put the original run flat tires back on, so I asked for a comparable tire to change to. The rep order them for me and set a 12:30 PM appointment for Tuesday Feb 13,2018. I returned with the car at 12 PM. I didn't leave the place until 3:58 PM. They ordered the wrong tires and they were $60.00 more per tire, bringing the total to $1300+ dollars. I told them that wasn't the total I was quoted. That's when they realized they order the wrong tires. They needed another 40 minutes to get the tires that were supposed to be ordered. After the wait they put the tires on and when I got the new total it still wasn't what I was quoted. They said it was because they didn't add tax but in fact they had double charged me for the installation to the tune of $100.00. The rep said to come back and they would put it back on my card. When I returned I forgot the receipt and instead of looking me up in the system which I know they can do, and putting the money back on my card. I was told to come back with the receipt. The receipt says free alignment checks so you would think that they checked the alignment as part of putting the tires back on. Yes you guest it, that wasn't done and now the car is pulling to the left. This was such a bad experience and a total waste of my time that I will not return to any Goodyear. While I am never looking for any kind of compensation for mistakes I would have expected better customer service and a speedy fix to my situation. Instead I felt like I was at the backyard mechanic watching them move a the most leisurely pace and not very apologetic about it. Asking me to return with my receipt to put back money you over charged me was the worst. We all make mistakes but its how to deal with those mistakes that makes the difference!!! read more

These people are rude as hell. True I got to the shop 15 minutes before it was to close, but the guy had locked the door and was on the phone arguing and looking at me standing at the glass door. When he finally came to the door, he was like 'yes'... I told him I had a tpms to put on my tire, he tells me it was a very complicated process and to come back earlier on another day. read more
