Title: Just enjoy your experience and don't let unhappy Wendy stop you from having fun shopping! Yesterday was my first time going to this Goodwill and it was a very beautiful Goodwill! I found many great items that I purchased. The only issue was a rude worker named Wendy(older black lady near the fitting rooms). She was giving me dirty looks as I was trying on clothes in and out of the fitting room. At first I ignored her(just thinking she was some crabby old lady) then when I moved my cart out of the way(so people could walk back and forth the fitting rooms she barked at me and told me "you better move your cart by your door now little girl" I immediately told her "you better watch how you speak to people" I spoke with the manager John(I believe that was his name) about this yesterday and told him about the rude employee named Wendy. Come out to find out by reviews (google and here) she's a reoccurring problem there. I made sure to reported her to Goodwill corporate but this interaction will not stop me from still going back and finding good deals. Everyone else was nice and my suggestion for anyone who comes across Wendy and she is being rude to you, just tell her to shut it and enjoy your shopping experience regardless of this older black lady who is unhappy with her life. read more

I love going to Goodwill and this location does have good finds however they need way more shelving. The shelves are jam packed with little to no organization especially in the toy and Christmas areas. This makes looking for items stressful as if you grab something the odds of something falling is high. They seem to have a lot of staff so I would think some of their tasks would be to organize the shelfs. I will say they do need more shelving in order to allow for organizing to occur. read more

Like all of the Goodwill stores... they have jacked their prices several times. The 50¢ price tag has mostly gone away and is now 99¢. Over the last year, this store like everyone else is struggling with staffing... so CLUTTER is often the rule. Goodwill in general now sends all the "Good Stuff" to their E-Commerce location in Racine WI to be put on-line. While this gives them the extra profit, it has taken the excitement of "the find" at Goodwill away... so the desire to go daily has dropped. There are still a few gems to be found now and then, mostly if someone in the back screws up. A lot of "Dollar Store" items can be found at $1.99 despite having the dollar store brand tag still on the item. I still find some decent to excellent Art works... Antique Prints and some originals here... as I guess those are too big to send to the E-commerce center. The clothes side can be frustrating as sizing is all over the place. Ive see some of the young staff "dumping" items in the racks... that is grabbing 12 or more of say mens shirts off the rolling racks... and just dropping them on the sales racks... despite the shirts being different sizes... they don't want to take the time to sort them where they belong. This seems to be all over the place. Even groups of women clothes dumped in the mens racks. read more

Can't wear a mask for health reasons and this location still denies the entry. On top they want you to pay for one. It's NOT a state mandate and hasn't been for months. "Store policy" is bull crap when people have health reasons for why they can't wear one. read more

Thrift trip edition, 'burbs-style. I go out to MFalls to hang w/ the parentals and my brother. No other reason to, really. Yesterday, while my dad was kind enough to fix the brake pads and rotors on my Mazda, my mom and I headed out on a quick, budget-conscious shopping run for my new house. We hit up Big Lots (I purchased two patio chairs, some charcoal, and some paper plates for pretty cheap), Target (new sheets), and then, Goodwill. We came in not knowing what we would find. I found a super kick-ass throw for $14. It clearly *just* came from Target and the person decided yellow wasn't their thing, so now it's mine, and it's real great. Not so much in the way of furniture here, which is what I was on the lookout for. (I'm in the market for some poor sucker's "trash," meaning mid-century modern stuff that someone didn't realize the value of/was awesome, so I'm hitting up all sorts of thrift stores in an effort to strike gold... ) They do, however, have a *ton* of clothing/shoes at this location. A small smattering of housewears/decor, and that's about it, folks. I did see a woman score a really, really sweet rug that I could've cleaned thoroughly and then used. Dangnabbit. read more

I have been here many times, as I think I've donated at least a 10 ft truck worth of stuff. I occasionally stop in, and have found some great things. I got some hardly worn aldo shoes for $20 thst I totally got my money worth out of. Some sport coats and dress shirts worth buying occasionally find their way here too. I have even seen high end clothing like a brooks brothers cable knit sweater here. Go with an open mind, and you may find something you want to leave with. Go with boxes or bags of used but not used up old stuff, and you'll leave with even more joy than when you went. read more

I drop off items - generally clothing - at this Goodwill location probably 4-7 times a year and am always greeted promptly and they assist in moving items out of my car. Upon departing I always get " Thank you for supporting our mission". Have also shopped in store on occasion for items and prices are generally good. read more

This was the best,cleanest goodwill store I have ever been to. Some goodwill stores can be dirty and messy, not this one. If you are looking for a good nice clean goodwill store i would go to this one. read more

They've recently jacked their prices quite a bit (January 2020). I won't go back since it was a bit of a hike for me anyway. It's now one of the highest priced ones I've been to. Think boutique Goodwill pricing and that's on all items. read more

Absolutely worst Goodwill! The management is a joke and they run their staff like slaves. The employees are rude and I will never support this goodwill ever again. They (the company and specifically that store) do not support pregnant mothers. Don't ever work or shop at this store! read more

A lot better than the vast majority of Goodwills in the area, this one doesn't have that weird smell that most Goodwill's have. everything is nicely organized and in it's own spot and not just throw on a shelf. read more

Found some great stuff at this location. Store is busy and they need more cashiers, not only this one but several locations.

I've dropped off about 5 loads here in the last two weeks. Today they ask do you want the totes back that my donations were in. Yes we said. They take the totes of stuff and never come back. When I asked I was told they were compacted. In 3 minutes?!?!? Did you compact all the stuff I donated too? The "kids" working there had the nerve to tell me that they didn't know to return the totes to me. Ok so now you tried to lie to me. Insane. I won't be donating here anymore. Horrible customer service and dishonest people working here. Ugh. read more

I don't go often but when I do I like going to this location. It is very clean and organized. The staff are also helpful and friendly. Even though they didn't have what I was looking for, I did find a couple of things. Would recommend this place. read more

The customer service out of this location is extremely poor. I dropped off a box of items and realized later that day that some parts in the box were needed for something I still had at home. When I went in that afternoon to see if they still had the items, they refused to look for them and said they would get back to me in 2 weeks. He argued with me but admitted that he saw the specific box that I donated. I then went to the store the next morning and SOME of the items in the box were out but the pieces I needed were not out. The person I spoke to that morning also refused to look for the other pieces that were in the box that they just put out and said they would get back to me in 2 weeks. Well we all know that they won't get back to me in 2 weeks and that they either put the items in the steel disposal area or threw them out. They had/have no intention to look for them. I will NEVER donate to Goodwill again and I have a lot of items that I need to donate in the near future. Hopefully St. Vincent DePaul has a better client attitude. read more

Sadly, I went in to this location today and had the worst most embarrassing thing happen to me. My children are brought up well disciplined. Everywhere I go I always remind my children that they may not touch anything unless if they ask my husband or I, as well as I remind them to not run off by themselves. Today, as my family and I went to this location ( a place we spend hundreds at over the years) 3 of my children asked if they could go and check out the toys. I told them it was fine and followed them there. As we were standing in front of the toys they asked if they could check out a toy each before even grabbing it off the rack. I told them as long as it was the one they wanted they can check it out to see if anything was wrong with it before we purchased it. I watched one of my boys (9 years old- grab a toy truck off the shelf so I told him to roll it on the floor just to make sure all the wheels were working correctly and look all around it to make sure it was what he really wanted. It was probably 1-2 minutes and he said the wheel didn't spin well so I told him to put it back on the rack and find something else. As he put it back on the rack an employee about 15-20 feet screamed out with attitude for us to make sure we put what we touch back away. We were the only ones by the toys so of course I knew she was talking to us. She was so loud and rude 5 other shoppers near by were literally staring at us. First off we did nothing wrong. I am not buying anything from that store that is broken so of course I am going to tell my child to take it off the shelf and test it out to see if it was broken because majority of these items come from other homes where they could had already been broken. I can understand if they were maybe there by themselves taking a bunch of other toys off and just leaving them all over the place but they were not. My other two children ( ages 3 and 7) were holding one toy in there hands as well as they already confirmed they wanted it and the toys were not broken. I turned to the lady screaming from the registers and told her that my children were just grabbing the toy off the shelf to check and see if they wanted it and that they would not be buying it with out looking at it and making sure they were not broken and that if they didn't like the toy or if it was broken I'm sure they know better to put it back away for I was literally standing right next to my children. With attitude she turns around and screams "I just picked up all those toys and put them away, Thank you!" Then another employee next to her with attitude as well screams at us with attitude, " We appreciate it!". Seriously!!! My husband, who at the time was no where to be seen ( 4-5 aisle down maybe) heard them screaming and assumed it was us because he said he heard them say something about toys and he knew that was where I had taken my children. He came over to us and asked if everything was ok so I explained to him what happened. I also explained to him that these employees were so rude and loud that literally everyone near by were staring at us and I was so embarrassed because she made it seem like my children were putting toys everywhere or something. These two goodwill empoyees had no right screaming from 15-20 feet away from us for us to make sure we put the toys back away, secondly-- even if there were toys/clothes ect around, isn't that what they get paid for ?? Not to just stand around and do nothing!!! At the time we were still by the toys and the two employee could still clearly see me furious and telling my husband. The first employee who had attitude walks by to me and tells me ( no attitude now) she was sorry if she was giving me attitude, but just before we came in there were toys everywhere from some children playing over there before us and she had just finished picking them up. That she was probably giving me attitude and she apologized because it was not her intentions. I didn't really say much but looked her directly in her eyes and said " yep". Well news flash goodwill employees - you are paid to do your job so do your job. What ever happened before we came there was not our fault so you and your friend employer really should had kept your attitude to yourselves and did you really have to scream all the way by the registers to us, did you even see if we were making a mess first or not?? SMH- if you are not fit to work in good will (retail) and refuse to do your job like you are paid to do find yourself a new job!! We are paying customers who shop here frequently. I hope in the near future goodwill hires better employees !!! smh read more
