We met a local person who told us that this place was connected to a church and that proceeds from sales would help the local community. Sounds good. I'm not real big on thrift shops, but we stopped in. Books and clothes and household items. Didn't find anything that I absolutely had to have. Prices are reasonable. Most items had price stickers. I did see two CorningWare casserole dishes with lids that were rather tempting, but I would have had to carry them a couple of miles back to the car. I actually passed on them! One was shallow, dark brown, with a cornucopia motif. The other was the classic blue flower. Maybe I was an idiot to pass on those. Go grab 'em if you can. Tell 'em I sent ya.

They also had on display in another booth an ashtray in the shape of an African American person squatting, where you are to ash in their mouth. Disgusting. Should just be destroyed. We are were very put off. These are parts of history not to be celebrated but to be ashamed of. Also, it smelled bad in there anyways.
