Sonja helped me at checkout and was kind enough to offer extra assistance in getting my stack of items to the car. The workers' hearts are salt of the earth, and they are ceaselessly welcoming. Books are in ample supply, alongside seasonal clothing, sentimental knickknacks, time-capsuled cds, practical housewares, cozy candles and accessories of every kind. This shop also offers an endless selection of shoes, ties, toys, and spools of ribbon. From moose mugs to towering Christmas trees, they have a bit of everything to pique the interest of all who enter. The store provides frequent sales and markdowns in the week, which is an added bonus. Parking is perpetually plentiful, while the bathroom is kept clean and easily accessible. Beside it sits a pair of water fountains, to keep patrons hydrated while searching for buried treasure. Every visit to this shop is an adventure and every peek down the aisle a possibility. I look forward to it so much--because it brings out the kid in me. If you love finding pieces that speak to you and tell a story too, then you'll love this special place and the sincere, smiling staff inside. I do a lot of shopping at Goodwill but I prefer to donate my clothes to organizations like Clothes To Kids of Denver. I called them up and asked what kind of clothes they accepted. Note: they take all season clothes, shoes, hats, and accessories. That was great news because I had all of those things to donate including a few purses and a couple of bags. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They were deep into a major reorganization of all of the clothing donations which was massive! I spent like 10 min and only found 3 items the right size for my child. The prices on toys are very hit or miss. I got a nice fold up carriage house toy for $3 here but they had bags of very used Hot Wheels with only 4 cars in it for $3. Hot wheels new are $1 usually so, that's nuts. Not even all the sets actually had hot wheels in them anyway, several were even cheaper cars from car packs like from the dollar tree. I saw furnishings for sale that were $5 less than brand new and NOT be in "like new" condition. Lastly they had huge slow lines to pay. We waited longer to pay than we spent shopping, by far. Over all I'd never come back because it's one of the worst thrifts I've been in. If you live nearby or are in the area and want to go browse and see if you can find one of the rare actual thrift priced "deals", probably isn't a waste of time- but definitely not worth driving out of the way to visit. Also they had almost no house hold furnishing items. I was shopping for a side table and they had nothing like that. Very low house hold furnishings stock over all.
