I requested bubble wrap and packing material for protection - what I got were the two items jumbled together and thrown into an empty box

A Horrible experience. I asked them to pack the item with care and what I got was the items thrown into a box. I wrote to the location BEFORE it was shipped and was assured by the person replying: Reply On 5/30/2024: "We will pack with extra bubble wrap and cardboard to avoid damages". Look at the photo - Do you see any bubble wrap? Do you see any protective packing material anywhere? Does this look it was packed WITH CARE? Does it look like this location cares about how they treat customers? It doesn't look that way to me. It's your time and money - use it well!

It was just a warehouse with bins of clothes and stuff all mixed together. Sad that the other photos were not accurate.

I was sad to see just a ton of bins with clothes piled in them. Everything was mixed together, so it was impossible for me to find a starting point for anything.

Ask the Community - Goodwill Outlet

What time do you bring out new bins? I was there from 4-6 and did not see any new bins being taken out? Is it only in the morning you replace bins? Thanks

They truly are concerned about pets. I have so much positive to say about Rhonda and Second Chance…read morefor Homeless Pets. I've adopted three kittens from them. The kittens were always very well taken care of and you could tell that they came from quality foster homes. Very reasonable, adoption fees, spayed, and neutered and current on vaccinations. I've also had the pleasure of fostering kittens with Second Chance. The owner does what she says and supplies you with everything you need to take care of the animals. The commitments are not long and she is able to take the animals back as promised and on time. I recently was in there, and there was a woman trying to adopt a dog. It was obvious the woman did not have a home. The owner was not going to allow the woman to adopt the dog because she did not have a safe place for the dog to live. Although the woman was very upset, the owner was very professional and kind as she explained that she could not in good conscience adopt a pet out that didn't have a safe environment. percent she is concerned about the welfare of the animals. I will always refer people to them whether they're in the market to adopt an animal or if they're interested in fostering or volunteering there it's a great place with low overhead and a lot lot of love.!

The people who run this organization are incredibly charitable and put so much effort into these dogs and cats. I recently visited and they had three dogs available. They were happily running around inside their enclosures outside under the shade of the tree. There were lots of other dog runs/kennels that looks much smaller, but also like they were no longer in use. There were not a lot of animals to choose from-but maybe that's because they all found homes or were in foster homes when we visited. Hopefully that's the case-and they are getting closer to their goal of No More Homeless Pets!

For $50 they provide a 2-weekend training at their headquarters in South Salt Lake; complete with heart-string jerking stories of their students, role playing real-life scenarios, creating a lesson plan and a swanky orange tote bag. The staff and mentors are amazing and I completed the program feeling a lot of responsibility in my new teaching role, but well-equipped and with an ample support system. They also encourage you to sit in on a class to get hands-on experience. The staff at ESLC opened my mind to what a impact confidence in language makes. From a parent who wants to ask questions their child's parent-teacher conferences, to an individual that wants a more fulfilling career.

Our tour guide was…read morefantastic and cracked jokes the entire way through, all while explaining all the critical aspects of the Ronald McDonald House Foundation. It's truly an amazing organization that focuses on family and does so much good, especially for those struggling financially. Some highlights I found that were good to know include: Cost is $15 per night for a family medicaid coverage (all states cover this fee except Utah Medicaid). The only families who qualify would need to reside at least 35 miles away. Over 22,000 families were served in the first year alone, but in order to stay here, families need to be referred by social worker and have a thorough background check. They do not allow early room reservations to prevent turning away a family in need that could have had an empty room that gets cancelled. There is a 25 cent coke machines in community room. Due to enterovirus, kids under 14 and not inpatient cannot stay. But they do allow visiting guests. I'd recommend any organization that is looking to donate to a charity to consider the Ronald McDonald House. There are also many ways to volunteer, so definitely look into it--whether you're a chef, story-time expert, or OCD cleaner!
