I am an avid thrifter and couldn't pass up an opportunity to visit a Goodwill store. Prices seemed rather high for a thrift store, but I still enjoyed looking around for that hidden gem. Unfortunately, I didn't find it. Oh well! There was a ton of merchandise to look through. The store seemed clean and well maintained. The service was decent and selection in clothes was pretty vast. Cost in clothing was shockingly affordable. Left with 5 dresses and one purse for only $25. Was a shock. One dress was from David's Bridal. I totally scored. This is a hidden gem and there are fitting rooms. Bathrooms are clean and easy to locate at the front. read more

As far as Goodwills go, this store was fine. There are a lot of clothes, and quite a bit of it is ladies--which, if that is what you are looking for, is awesome. There isn't much for gentlemen or children. Something that makes this Goodwill amazing is that the clothing is not organized by color but by size! That alone makes this Goodwill great! Maybe that is normal for the Goodwills in this area but those back in Augusta, Georgia are all organized by color and that makes for a lot of disappointment when you find a great looking (blank) and it is meant for someone in a size small and not large. Yay, for not having to look through a lot of clothing that isn't the correct size. The staff at this store are a unique group of characters-- all of whom are kind and personable. The book selection at this store was great too! This location might not be where you look for homegoods as much--there is only a small selection here. read more

This is the first time I've ever been to a city where the Goodwills have no daily specials, only senior day. Plain greed. Corpus Christi, even Houston has daily discount days for military/first responders, student day etc..only Beaumont offers nothing to no one except their own pockets. Let me remind you all of this stuff is Donated to them yet they act like they're a new retail shop charging high prices for used attire. I rather shop at the small treasure shops than make this organization richer when they don't care about anyone else. read more
